“I really like the Bay Road location. It is always neat, clean, and well stocked. Even the Aisle of Shame is neat which is a feat at any location. The prices are generally outstanding and I am able to buy a selection of core staples and try new seasonal items at reasonable prices”
“Love the fresh produce, meat selection is good. I've had 1 bad experience here when the meat clerk gave me skinless Kogel hot dogs. I didn't specify either way and just assumed I was going to get the skin on type. Unfortunately, I didn't realize I'd got the wrong thing until I was home.”

“This is my go to store. I try to avoid Walmart if at all possible. The customers make it unbearable to be honest.
But the main reason is the produce market and deli is top notch and the service is very friendly there as well. I can be asked if I need help by employees more in one day than I ever have in a year at a Walmart. I'll pay the little price difference for that experience.”

“Just here to say that I was dying laughing when I seen the other person in these reviews say she won't go in unless Rickey's green car is there??? funny enough I know that car it's a real nice masculine dodge challenger with a darker shade of green, maybe 2015 or something around there. Anyways I give this place a 4/5-- a 4.5/5 if I could just not a 5 because really, I don't know the parking lot next to it isn't so smooth but it's really nice. Always really pleasant to visit in and stuff:) they do have a really large variety of snacks and the best part is they don't really go out of stock on most stuff. If youre a lazy person you'll find getting a 2 liter of soda not so pleasant lol with it being at the furthest section from the door but besides that, there's plenty of room to walk around in and a good little liquor store for some supplies weather it be a good 'ol slim jim or even clothes at times like beanies!”

“The place is always been quick and clean but the prices are a little high. Walmart and Kroger are both cheaper. I really enjoy going to meijer's when I'm looking for specific things but cost is my number one priority I would recommend a different place. I do love their point system though. It's fairly easy to earn points when purchasing food and you can use those points for discounts on gas, coupons for a specific dollar amount off your entire order, and sometimes coupons for free food.”

“I only recommend Kroger for their Floral department. They have they most beautiful long lasting arrangements for such a great price. Chelsea in the floral department does a spectacular job in the arrangements and is very friendly with everyone she meets!!”
“The girls are always so nice, and they try to get the inventory out to clear the walk ways and since I use crutches they often apologize about the inventory carts. Store is always clean. The quality of your line of acrylic paint is horrible. But can't win them all”

“A young woman and named Diamond is the reason I take the extra time to shop at this location. She is professional, efficient, polite and just all around wonderful. The store is always fully stocked up as well as nice and clean. Diamond is the manager so therefore she sets the standard for that store, she obviously operates at an optimal level and I respect that highly especially as a military man. Diamond is a natural leader and the GM off dollar general should be made aware of her, she truly is a gem and I wish her the absolute best!”

“Always a great selection of fresh meat and produce. Meat counter was busy, but they can get the people taken care of quite quickly. We stopped by yesterday to egt some stuff for a family cookout and the check out gal was cussing because the meat dept can't cleanly fill the Mac salad cups. No greeting from her, nothing. Stopped today to get stuff for my lunches and a few beers. She put bread in the bag and tossed it by the bag holder, dropped grocery items into the bag, tossed it on top of the bread. I understand everyone has a bad day from time to time. I worked retail for 25 years and customer service was always the NUMBER ONE priority. Will this gal's mood deter me from going here. Absolutely not. Jack's is a great locally owned business and we love going there”
