“The rooms were clean and comfortable. They included a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We were less than 10 minutes from downtown Saginaw and about 20 minutes from the Frankenmuth and Birch Run area. We will definitely stay here again when we are visiting the area.”

“My husband and I stayed Saturday, January 24th, for my grandsons hockey tournament. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, shower had hot water and good water pressure. Temperature in room was able to be adjusted to our comfort level. The pool was clean. The free breakfast had a good variety of items the only issue we had was the TV channels. They have Dish satellite and every show we tried to watch, would freeze frequently. I think it may have been the very cold temperature outside and it was snowing. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.”

“I was able to use earned points through Marriott, so the stay was free aside from the pet fee of $75. If I had to pay full price, I probably would not have stayed here. Con’s: The room stunk, thankfully I brought a powerful plug in to mask the odor. The rooms are small but the king studio was set up nicely, the bathroom was a good size though. TV on the small side. It just wasn’t very clean, the kitchen in our room was disgustingly dirty and greasy…the cabinets, outside of fridge and microwave were gross. The bathroom was ok on cleanliness, although the sink just trickled water and it needs updated fixtures. The carpet and upholstered furniture needs replaced (I would not take my shoes off and thankfully brought a sheet to cover the couch). The carpet in the entire hotel is awfully outdated and dirty. The pool was very warm, but the whole pool area needs renovation. The pool shower didn’t work, the paint was peeling, screws were falling from the ceiling. I didn’t visit the workout room. Pros: the window opened to get fresh air (thank goodness), the AC and heat worked good. The linens appeared clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfasts were very good with a descent variety, it just shuts down so early…9am during the week. It was very, very quiet where my room was (2nd floor, middle). The staff were wonderful, especially the front desk ladies. Everyone was very nice, friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking. Location was good, lots of restaurants and shopping very close. It seemed to be safe location for Saginaw. They just really need to do some severe upkeep in this place. It could be a very nice place with some heavy duty cleaning and new flooring/upholstered furniture.”

“The rooms are clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The pool is great for the kiddos and clean. Both workers at the front desk were friendly and helpful 5/24/26 and 5/25/26. However, our family of four came down for breakfast 5/25 around 8:25 am to find the breakfast room empty of food. No waffles, eggs, or sausage. The front desk notified the kitchen worker, she said she would work on it and fill up the breakfast. I watched another gentleman ask nicely when there would be more food available. She said she was out of everything, extremely rude. Now at 8:50, as I’ve watched several other couples and families look for food.. I asked the front desk worker again, if the waffles were going to actually be filled. Again she asks the kitchen worker, kitchen worker comes out and shuts the doors with a smirk. If breakfast is served 6-9, I figured coming down a little after 8 would be okay to still eat, evidently not. Very disappointing. We stay at Hilton hotels anytime we travel, one of the reason being their breakfast and my kids enjoying making their own waffles. Besides the incident, with the kitchen worker and breakfast, we had a great stay!”

“The front desk ladies are so amazing! My husband was here for work and I was able to tag along. When his day went longer than expected, they took great care of me! All of the staff were smiling and friendly. I am so thankful that they allowed me to feel comfortable in hanging out for the afternoon.”

“It was fine, a convenient stay. It's an older property yet functional. It's a budget option so don't expect creature comforts. Room was clean and very quiet during my visit. Yeah, could use a little TLC tune-up, but I got along well and had an enjoyable stay.
PS... Had an issue with a slow sink drain, however, maintenance man fixed it in 5 minutes or less. Fine service”

“The receptionist, young lady named Bobo, provided the most accommodating and warm service than I’ve ever experienced at a hotel, including locations where the cost was over $1,000. Highly recommend!”

“Always have a smooth and easy checkout when we go here. Room was clean, jacuzzi worked great, walking distance to stores, bars and more. One of our favorite places to stay”

“We had to book here because we were cancelled without reason at a much fancier and more expensive place. I never stay at places that are less than $150 and more of a brand name good chain, and I was super hesitant, but we were stuck and really tired.

What a pleasant surprise!!! This place is super clean. It's small, but the rooms are spotless and the owners are so sweet. Don't hesitate to stay here.”
