“Worked with Steve over the course of about a month to purchase a 2010 HHR. It's my understanding that Steve does not often sell used vehicles, and there were some unexpected mechanical issues with the car. upon discovering this, instead of just selling us the car as-is, he got it into the mechanics multiple times to make sure we had a safe vehicle. He was incredibly transparent about costs, issues, and bumps along the road (which means a lot, as I am a 19yo woman and this was my first time buying a car, which I am not very knowledgeable about. He could have had me signing a check for something that barely rolled down the road without a second thought haha)
Not only did we receive about the best service I could have thought possible, but Steve ended up losing some time and money just to smooth things over as much as possible for us along the road to actually buying the vehicle after repairs. The very day we drove down from Traverse City to pick the car up he had paid on his own to have a repair he had just barely discovered fixed in a hurry for us without charging us extra.
Over the course of a month this guy essentially became my adoptive Michigan dad LOL. Can't sing his praise enough. I know who I'll be directing my vehicular business to for.... well, as long as I remain in a 500 mile radius. 1,000/10, felt genuinely blessed to meet this gentleman <3”
