“3 months ago when the negative review was posted this store was in transition and it was a very cruel and unfair review! Obviously this person doesn't shop here on a regular basis or the review should have been updated. The store is now under new management and the workers are doing the best they can .The manager is a lovely woman who is always pleasant and the workers are very helpful.I shop there on a regular basis, and I never had any issues. These people are working hard to make this store an asset to the community and if you think Dollar stores are a breeze ,you should apply for a job and see for yourself.Thank you for helping keep Dollar General in St Ignace Michigan.You are loved and appreciated ????”

“Stopped in to look around in July and fell in love with the feel. But more importantly I was impressed by the sheer variety of items. The variety not only is a plus to those who live there full time or seasonally but also for the tourist like me. The staff was super friendly which made buying that much more enjoyable.Something must be going in their favor when they clearly are America’s oldest grocery store!!”

“2 of the nicest ladies that I had ever met were there. The one lady was the owner. Myself and a friend were traveling on our motorcycles and we got caught in the rain. We pulled over to fill the gas tanks. The owner told us to just leave our bikes parked there, and if someone came to get gas, they could back up. We hung out there and talked to them until the rain passed. Thank you very much for your hospitality.”

“Just your average liqour store, has most everything you may be looking for in one. The service was quick and the people working here seemed pretty nice. Wasn't to busy when we went so we were able to get in and out which can always be appreciated. Parking is right outside of the building.”
