“The four of us had a forever memorable birthday celebration dinner. We intentionally picked a Wednesday evening hoping it would be quiet enough for older ears to enjoy conversation - and it was. Our appetizer was more unique than its name suggested and was a creative, tasty work of art. Each of us ordered a different entree. All were generous portions, beautifully presented with delicious layers of flavor. Our server was delightful and eager to answer our questions. She took great care to see we had anything we could possibly need and that we had a wonderful evening. This is truly one of the hidden gems of Douglas. We will definitely be returning to dine at The Kirby. Maybe we will see you there.”

“Our company, Above Roofing, was an exhibitor in the HBA Home Show at the Civic Center. The space was OK and the attendance was light for a show of this type. This was our second year but not sure if we'll do it a third.”

“Super cool place with the cheapest drinks in America! Had super fun performing stand up comedy there to a great fun crowd! Definitely recommend seeing the comedy shows put on Saturdays or any day for that matter.”

“This place is amazingly clean and lots of extras come with the rental (TV networks, games, kitchenware, etc.). We rented Unit#3 for our thanksgiving (2021) get together (19 people). Plenty of space and bedrooms/beds for everyone. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.”

“Our adventure began with high spirits and an insatiable thirst, not just for the amber nectar but also for a culinary delight. New Holland, a beacon of craft in the brewing world, was our chosen special destination. As we crossed the threshold into The Holland Brewpub, we were greeted not by mere beers, but by a cornucopia of brews so elusive, not even the most dedicated of store shelves could cradle them. The cocktail lineup was no mere list. It was a saga, each one a hero's journey in a glass, championed by New Holland's own distilled spirits. Bourbon and gin took center stage, turning each sip into a crescendo of flavor. But let's not skirt around the main event... the feast! The elote corn dip was not just a dish... it was a challenge. We dove in, not with the grace of gourmands but with the fervor of the Teletubbies' vacuum, inhaling the culinary concoction as though it were the air we breathed. And the prosciutto pizza! It didn't just arrive... It made an entrance, harmonizing with Dragon's Milk in what can only be described as a ballet of flavors. Each bite, a pirouette; each gulp, an ovation.Enter stage left, our waitress Madison, not merely a server but the conductor of our gastronomic symphony. With a smile that could light the darkest brewery and a joy that infused each interaction, she elevated our experience from mere dining to a jubilant celebration of food, drink, and human connection. In this tale of hops and dreams, New Holland didn't just serve us; they regaled us with a saga to be recounted with a smile, a clink of glasses, and a heartfelt toast to Madison, our cheerful guide through this epic food and alcohol-driven odyssey.”

“Lovely venue for a special event! The building is a historical landmark, has a lot of industrial charm, exposed beams and beautiful brick walls. There is indoor / outdoor space for guests and it felt very spacious and inviting when we were there recently. The food was also really good and we appreciated how attentive the staff was during the event.”

“Absolutely loved having our wedding ceremony and reception in the upstairs venue. The food was delicious. Many of our guests have complemented on the venue and the food. The event managers were great to work with and made the process of planning a wedding so easy. The newly updated bridal suite was the perfect space for us girls to get ready in. Overall it was a great experience and a perfect day!”
