“I was at the checkout and the lovely cashier asked how my day was going. I responded with, "Not well, since my sweet old dog is soon going over the rainbow bridge and my husband of 53 years has dementia and is in a nursing home." I was given the warmest comfort hug from this very compassionate woman. My thanks for the extra care and warmth. I won't forget!”
“Great place. Clean, friendly, and a very social atmosphere. Only complaint is the deli, the staff take forever to serve people at the deli counter. Sometimes there will be no one working the counter but there will be people working turned the other way. Theres been times when I've walked up waited a few minutes and left because nobody wanted to help me. But like I said, Great store besides that”
“A lot of sauce. I needed to wash my hands because the sauce was going everywhere. The cheese wouldn't stay on the pizza and the pizza was a bit soggy. The flavor was good. I tried the club sandwich. It was pretty good. Definitely something I'd like during the summer after a long day of fishing.”
“Dashed in at 10:01pm and asked if they were closing (yes) and could I get one thing? The 2 women closing were so gracious and let me grab my meat and pay and leave. They were so kind. This has to be the friendliest store in all of West Michigan. Only store left that offers to carry groceries out for me every time. So nice!”
“Stopped there because whole area around my home was out of electricity. Woman working was very friendly and we chatted for a few. They serve pizza, salad and sandwiches. This is what I saw. Store was very charming had an old country store vibe. Had beverages and snacks. Gas station.”
“I see a lot of comments blaming the store on the employees for the way it looks but what they don't understand is that's not the case. As a former employee it's the corporation that's the issue. They constantly understaff they constantly underpay they give us too much work push us to the Max and people get worn out in the work ethic there tanks because of this. If you saw the back room and how much product they send us with only one or two people to be able to put it out per day you'd understand why the store looks the way it looks. So maybe complain to corporate instead of about the store itself because we were only doing our best. And I left because of these reasons and that's why people walked out and quit last time.”

“Out of the 3 grocery stores in our city, Meijer is the best in our opinion. Prices are fair, especially if you take the time to join their point system. Produce and meat are fresh and there is a variety of canned, frozen and boxed staples. Employees are for trained and courteous and the store is kept clean at all times. The parking lot is well lit and surveillance is in place to keep you safe. Clothing, toy and sporting goods areas are well stocked and the store is convenient a fast "In and out " shopping trip.”

“Absolutely LOVE this local dollar store! Such a large selection and the two gals who work here are the SWEETEST! It's a small town and it's a trip just to get simple things but having this dollar store which is always well stocked, close to home, AND WITH FRESH PRODUCE.... Complete life saver! We were not thrilled when the idea of this store being built came into town but it's one of the best parts and it beats Town & Country prices on most things!”
“This is one of the best Dollar Generals out there. They don't always have my water flavorings in stock though. But the staff are usually friendly and I usually find what I need here. Their clearance aisle also is worth checking out. And they're usually good about customers using the restrooms.”
“It was a bit more cluttered but still able to find what I need. The cashier, however, was extremely helpful and very cool with a friendly conversation. Definitely a come back to store”

“Their meat department was much improved from the last time I was there. Previously, the meat was half frozen and half....not. The chicken packaging was extremely unappealing, with chicken juice nearly overflowing into the display case.
MUCH improved!”
