The Hampton Inn South Haven is a generally well-regarded hotel that offers a comfortable and convenient stay for guests. The staff is described as courteous and friendly, helping direct guests and even accommodating same-day room requests. Amenities include a continental breakfast, on-site pool facilities, and free parking. While the hotel's overall quality is solid, some areas could use improvement. Certain rooms appear tired or in need of updating, with outdated furniture and fixtures. One guest reported issues with the mini-fridge not working properly during their stay. Noise from neighboring guests has also been a problem at times, though the hotel seems to address such issues when notified. The hotel's location is a highlight, situated near South Haven's beaches, lighthouses, and restaurants, with a Culver's restaurant right across the parking lot. Guests appreciate the walkable access to nearby dining and attractions. Pricing can be a point of contention, with some feeling they paid too much during peak tourist season. However, most agree the rates are reasonable given the hotel's amenities and proximity to the area's popular destinations. Overall, the Hampton Inn South Haven provides a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly stay, with friendly staff and a convenient location. While not perfect, it offers a solid option for visitors to the South Haven area.
Sort of tired looking, rooms need to be freshened up with new furniture, paint. Safe, comfortable, pet friendly, free breakfast. No real complaints. Free parking. Some walkable places nearby for a quick meal.

We were traveling with no plan and didn’t realize how hard it would be to find a hotel with availability! Andrea saved our lives, and went out of her way to tell us about a pending cancellation, and got us a room. Such sweet staff, and Andrea deserves employee of the month or a raise for her service ?
