I liked the way he supported with the entire process. No endless talks with selling products/services that you don't need. At the same time suggesting and sharing his insights that are useful and making sure my queries are answered. He was kind and transparent in sharing information. They are quick and don't make you wait. Their quotes are fair and only focuses on what you need. “The staff was very professional and courteous diagnose the problem and fixed everything that needed to be replaced. They gave me a price over the phone but when I got there it was $100 more, because they said the hose on the front drivers side needed to be replaced as well. They maybe should have called and verified that first before doing the work. But I still give them five stars.”

“Had my vehicle towed here on yesterday. My dash board read that my engine was overheating and that I should stop engine. I called yesterday and explained the situation. As I imagined they had quite a number of cars ahead of me waiting for repairs. I was advised if I could get it towed there by midday they could likely get my vehicle back to me by Wednesday; which was a concern for me being that Xmas is on Thursday. At any rate, Ryan telephoned me Monday evening after providing a diagnosis and after I approved the repairs he stated if he could get the parts Tuesday he could finish the repairs, but if not, it could likely be ready no later than Wednesday. Thankfully my car was repaired on Tuesday and for less than what he estimated.
I have been bringing my vehicles to this business for well over 15 years, when it was Ernie Fischers. They were recommended years ago by a co-worker. Ryan took over the business from the previous owner. My personal experience with this establishment is that they are honest and do a great job in repairing your vehicles. I currently have a 2014 Terrain Denali which I purchased new and have taken good care of. Any car that I have had over the years I have brought to them to do any repairs outside of the manufacturers warranty, including vehicles I had for my children. Unlike the dealership; which i feel is always overpriced, I’ve never felt taken advantage of here, thats why i continue to return. Ryan personally telephones you to explain what is wrong with your vehicle, thoroughly explains the necessary repairs and patiently answers any questions. Although the name is Southfield Muffler and Brake they are able to repair mostly anything with your vehicle. I have referred friends and family here and highly recommend them.”
