“Last Saturday I called American Mulch Producers in Southfield and spoke with Katie. She was very patient, answering all of my questions and suggesting the best options for my garden project. An appointment to send 5 yards of the 50/50 triple sifted topsoil and composted leaves was made for Sunday morning. Katie was very helpful in steering me to the correct soil mix; the clean compost smell and the rich black dirt would be perfect. Driver Ernie called before arriving. He came right on time, finding the location amongst many one-way streets with no problem. Ernie skillfully maneuvered the amazing dump truck into position along the tight alleyway, and dropped the 5 yards right on target. Thank you Katie and Ernie for a good experience!”
“Went to cemetery across street for one aunt who passed and now Visiting another aunt who is still with us. They were open on Sunday. A real godsend!
Bought a vase at another store and it looks wonderful my aunt loved it.”
“I see some bad reviews, but I have always had a great experience here. Rented a hedge trimmer, a drain snake/cleaner, and a carpet cleaner and each time I had attentive service and the equipment was in great shape. Southfield Home Depot is my favorite even though I also go to the one in Troy. Easy and convenient for me.”
“We rented a 100 ft snake. The rental section is always on point. The team members we have scheduled rentals with are informative, polite, knowledgeable of the parts we are using at that time. There are no surprises on our billing after we return it. I always enjoy the team at Southfield Home Depot.”

“Mains saved the day!!! After an unexpected truck breakdown I couldn't get playground mulch from my usual supplier as they won't deliver loads. I called Mains expecting to be turned away with it being the holiday weekend and short notice, and instead was greeted by a friendly representative, I believe Krista was her name. Within two hours Roger was on my jobsite delivering the mulch. Absolutely outstanding service from everyone. I've also been saved multiple times over the years by buying odd hour loads from the Express Rochester Hills location too. Mains has proven to be worth the price every time and our customers always are pleased with their mulch, to the point where we have a few who specifically request we only get them Mains Mulch.”
