Rented a hedge trimmer, a drain snake/cleaner, and a carpet cleaner and each time I had attentive service and the equipment was in great shape. Southfield Home Depot is my favorite even though I also go to the one in Troy. Easy and convenient for me.”
“Meh, experience there on multiple occasions. Manager wouldn't hold a couple of items for me so that I could go get my truck. Had to go to home Depot and rent a truck because of it. They didn't even know they had the blowers I wanted and all.of the sudden they couldn't hold them for 2 hours. Have arrived at opening time on a couple of occasions and they certainly are in no rush to open the doors. Usually about 5 minutes after 6 it takes them.”

“Stopped by Ace Hardware this evening and had a really great experience. Brian was extremely helpful from the moment I walked in. I came in trying to figure out an issue with a piece of furniture that I couldn't get to easily open and close, and he was genuinely determined to help me diagnose what was going on. He didn’t just point me in a direction, he walked me through the problem and then showed me exactly what I needed to buy to fix it.
What really stood out was his patience and kindness. You can tell he actually cares about helping customers get things right, not just making a quick sale.
On top of that, he also took the time to help my wife figure out how to properly attach her PVC pipes to the wall. He walked her through options and made sure she felt confident about what to do next.
Really appreciate the level of service, it made what could have been a frustrating trip actually enjoyable. Definitely coming back.”
