“Words can not express how happy I am to have a "true" and "valued" True Value near me. I have a couple of other locations closer. But this shop takes the cake. Screen Doors done in house and a commitment to understanding what thier customers need and not looking to over sell what they don't need.
Randy is amazing and totally helped me with a mini project. My idea would of cost be a bunch in parts and have me doing a bunch of labor and not sure I could of even done it.
Randy's idea was about 10$ out the door. Customer for life.

They matched it perfectly and it’s very likely that the paint that we were trying to match is four or five years old. “I’m currently painting the exterior of my 100 year old Birmingham home. I can’t tell you how fortunate I am to have a local, helpful, and knowledgeable paint store nearby. Huge thanks to Asst. Mgr. Zachry Z. for answering all my questions. I just posted three pics (two exterior and one interior) highlighting the type of work I’m doing (yes, I’m an ardent DIYer) and the quality of the paint. I’ve used SW paint exclusively in all of my interior projects as well (and that’s been extensive!). I wouldn’t use any other paint. Period.
I’m not yet finished with the exterior and will post more pics when that project is complete!”
“Ilco, thanks for your help. I've been fighting with the paint colors for my weird bathroom for weeks and its finally over. He scanned my tile to color match it which he assured me wasn't always 100% reliable but it was a gamble I was was willing to take. It came out gorgeous. We dropped a little dab of the paint onto the tile I brought in and once it dried, it was nearly indistinguishable from the tile.
Ilco is very friendly, sociable and professional and a great addition to your team.”

And Karen is the most helpful, knowledgeable, and compassionate employee ever. As a former painter, she not only knows everything about paint types and colors, but she is happy to take the time to share her wealth of knowledge with you and educate the customer about the choices and options out there. Plus, she expertly mixed two colors we needed for a color match. These colors and its sheens are flawless and completely disappeared with touchups on the interior walls. After I had a nightmare experience with a painter I found online, she recommended to me Chris Wise of Wize Painting and I couldn't be happier with the results. Karen at Benjamin Moore for the paints and Chris Wise and his team for the painting are the dream team you need to get the paint job done right at a very reasonable price! Thank you so much!!”
