First let me say Amber went above and beyond to try to help with my auto loan. She is an asset to anyone she works for. Now the bad part, despite being pre approved 2 different vehicles slipped my grasp because of their loan policies. One of them because the dealer had too many negative reviews which is outrageous. I've given up on attempting a purchase financed by them and will now pursue other means. Frustrated beyond belief.

Transactions take DAYS to post, so I’d recommend keeping a checkbook or mental ledger of your transactions, or you will be charged outrageous overdraft fees. Other than that the in person customer service is great

I had the best experience with A Hayes when she helped me with my auto loan. She was the most knowledgeable and professional loan specialist I’ve ever done business with. No doubt at all her impeccable attention to detail and diligent communication was very assuring and certainly made for an enjoyable experience buying a used car. How about that!!! I certainly intend and look forward to doing business with ms. Hayes at AOCU on fort st. again.

I love this credit union! I've unfortunately had to hop from bank to credit union to bank in order to find one that didn't treat me poorly or hit me with every fee they could think of. This credit union is not only 4 blocks from my house but incredibly pleasant to work with. Everyone I've had to have a conversation with at this credit union has been wonderful!

To be honest, I cannot speak confidently about the financial services side of things. (my needs have been few and simple) But what I can say is that the staff is always friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Outside of some of the very busiest times (which is inevitable, I can't blame them for being swamped) the service is quick. These days, being treated like a human being and a valued customer is very much appreciated.

I have had 2 accounts and numerous loans here for years, and I'm getting tired of it. One thing after another here. Issues with using my ATM card at other credit unions because the security alerted as possible fraud even though I've been to that ATM numerous times past and even after dealing with the security people. NOW... they are literally nickel and diming you. You can no longer directly deposit coins into your account, you must use their change machine that they CHARGE you a 5% fee on and yes even if you only have $10 in quarters, they will NOT just accept them at the counter (SORRY TO DISTURB EMPLOYEE SOCIAL HOUR). Staff seems to be becoming less friendly as well. The ONLY reason I haven't left is for the inconvenience of switching stuff around like auto payments, but it's working its way to that point very quickly.

When I first opened two accounts with them was at the brownstown branch and they were always amazing. Then I moved closer to this location and everytime I come in or need help with anything they were always super short or rude to me. Lady even got frustrated when i brought my kids in with me. I wouldn’t have came in if f they answered the call on the drive way. So today I went and closed my accounts. I’m usually understanding but it’s every time I visit this location

Amber was fantastic to work with! Every request or question I had she responded right away and even though I never got to actually meet her (all was done via email) she was a pleasure to work with!

Amazing Credit Union, Joann at the Southgate Branch is absolutely the best. Always helpful with great insight. If you are considering switching I would recommend going to Advantage One Credit Union and getting with Joann for all of your needs. Never in my life did I think my credit score would be at 730+. Without AOCU I wouldn't have gotten there!
