“We have had sewing machines and other appliances serviced at Sandy’s literally for decades! They do a fantastic job at reasonable prices, and everyone is so friendly and informative! They stock a comprehensive supply of sewing machines, vacuum cleaners, and so many colors of various sewing and embroidery threads! All of their products are of excellent quality, and prices are very reasonable for what you get. If you need an appliance, this is the place to go without wasting a lot of time and energy shopping around.
I recently purchased a new vacuum cleaner here and got a fantastic tour of my options from John. I told him what I needed, and I am so incredibly happy with my purchase! “I've been buying appliances from them for years. So far in different homes we have purchased: 2 French door fridges, a top load washer and front load dryer, and a stacking washer and dryer.
We have never had any issues with the appliances, but they have always treated me so well that I feel they'd stand by their products. I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews. I love this place and the amazing deals I could not otherwise access!”

“This is my go- to place for soil and certain vegetable plants in spring. Not many employees if you need help, but the ones who are there are helpful. What i don't like is having to order gardening supplies and then go back to the store to pick it up. They need to go back to being a full service store. I could just order from Amazon but I'd rather get my needed supplies at the store. They complain about people not buying at the store but then don't carry everything that's needed, so then I'm forced to shop Amazon.
They tend to over water their plants, but they do guarantee their plants so keep your receipts.”

“Had tough experience shopping recently. Im a fair man and believe giving a bad reviews punish all the other team members that provided a great customer experience. “To start, I was have an extremely overwhelming day to begin with. I came to the department store for some tape and boxes. The women, I believe her name is Tenisha, that works at the self check out, was INCREDIBLY helpful and kind. I think she could tell I was having a hard day and offered to take my things outside and waited for me to pull my car up and she put everything in the back. I would absolutely recommend that woman for a raise! Not only was she kind to me, every single person she encountered, she was professional and did it will a smile. You don’t run into workers like that, this day and age.”
“Trager I've used everything to smoke from the egg to the electric or super basic charcoal grill. This have ben fun. Im using a lot more wood pellets compared to woodchips. So take that into thought before u get one. I spe t about 40 on pellets already this summer. Which is about 10 times more then I've ever spent. Lol but a big fan is has a fan so chicken skin gets crunchy. which was an unexpected bonus.”

“so I went there to buy a laptop for college and I knew nothing about it. The staff named Omar helped me a lot and the way he helped me was like he was buying for himself. I really enjoyed the conversation and the help I got and it took me over 1 hour to find the best one for me with his help. He definitely deserves a raise same goes to his co-workers where they helped me alot too. Highly recommend this place as they help and guide you through it.”
“Looking to purchase GE electric range. None on display, only gas. I was going to head to Lowe's but a nice woman contacted Deangelo who arrived within minutes. Very friendly and helpful. Found my item online and ordered to be delivered to me next week. I used my 10% Home Depot coupon on a reasonably priced range. My last GE range lasted 22 years. Great product. Great service. “This is my first time coming in this Home Depot dearborn heights as I usually go to the one in Rochester but I was in the area so why not. I entered from the Pro door soon i entered i was greeted by RAFIQ and asked how he can help me I was looking for a certain tool to finish my deck project I was looking on the website but still couldn't find it. However, RAFIQ helped me find that tool .. He was very kind and patient and made sure I found everything I needed. Overall, great customer service here and will come by again and will make it my favorite location!”

Update, July 2026. I need to upgrade my 40-year-old Yamaha receiver that I purchased in Okinawa Japan. Thanks to the helpful staff at Best buy, I was able to purchase an incredible Denon 7.2 surround sound system with Martin Logan speakers and two Sonos 10-inch subs. This system sounds incredible! A little bit pricey and they did knock off a couple hundred dollars off the total purchase which was a bonus! I am extremely satisfied with my purchase!”
“I went here to pick up some supplies for a local property. The place sits near fairlane mall and I found out the traffic can be kind of heavy at times. It was very busy. There are many stores around this location so it can be tough to find. Once i arrived in the store I was greeted and asked if I needed some help. This was really surprising and helpful. Some of these big box stores typically do not ask you if you need help. They were very helpful and pointed me to the right direction for various items. The same service guide that asked me in the first place also asked if I found everything. Great customer service and a breath of fresh air. This trip was a great experience and was a welcome visit.”

“The customer service at this Home Depot is fantastic and noticeably better than other locations I've visited. However, the one major issue is their inventory accuracy. When I'm working on a maintenance project, I rely on the app to check stock. It will frequently show that they have 10 or 20 pieces left, so I'll drive out of my way from another location specifically for those supplies, only to arrive and find the shelf completely empty.
To avoid the wasted trip, I’ve tried calling ahead multiple times to verify if an item is actually there, but unfortunately, I can never get anyone on the phone to assist. The in-store staff is great, but they desperately need to fix their online inventory tracking and phone support.”

“I discovered this place when I was in search for the right lighting for my vintage light fixture. Had to go back for some lighting because they have an awesome selection. I needed a light for above the garage and I was able to order it all in white to match my trim. All the Halloween decoration reeled me in. Really nice quality stuff for a good price. I’m definitely going back when the Christmas stuff comes out. For sure recommend this place for lighting for it you’re like me who doesn’t know anything about lightbulbs and lighting.”
