I've had multiple visits to this Lowe's store the past 2 weeks, and I have to absolutely give credit to John. I'm not sure which department he specifically works, however, during my first visit, I brought my dog Essie with me. He seen me walking around knowingly that I needed help. He kindly asked if he could assist me. I explained to him (in female terms) what I needed. He directed me and walked across the store to show me where I needed to go and found another associate in that department to help me. During our walk across the store, we had conversations about dogs, etc.
He was beyond helpful and went above and beyond his requirements.
Yesterday, I had to go back and return an item and purchase a different one. This time I was alone. He again, walked over to help assist me. I thanked him again for helping the time prior and stated "you may not remember me", but he immediately did. He said yes, last time you had Essie. (My dog). He remembered my dogs name.
That was the best personalized customer experience that I've ever received before. He was helpful, friendly and a very knowledgeable person to encounter at a home improvement store. Which is very important being a female and not very knowledgeable regarding home improvements. I hope that he is recognized for his outstanding service that he provides, as I truly believe he's a huge asset to Southgate Lowe's.

Tried to buy an advertised frig at the sale price. The item was not in stock, could not order it but the commercials for this sale continued in the media. No ward from Lowe's. Bad business.

Seems like there's always a line of dudes asking why they can't just get the one piece for the stuff they bought from them that broke . Irregular stock options for things like refills and typically worn parts/ seasonal parts . I enjoy the sale prices yet they fluctuate prices so erratically is scary, the custom cabinets department was difficult to work with . Custom order options have left me wanting to send stuff back also damaged delivery. It's close or I'd go else where.

Very unhappy with this location. Bought a blackstone grill for a father’s day present. Bought it 4 days ago and chose store pickup. I get there today and they had a floor model held for me. They sold my grill and switched it out with the floor model. Not happy. Customer service was no help and offered nothing. Called the 800 number and talked with someone who could barely speak english for 30 min. After being put on hold 4 times they offered nothing and did nothing. The only plus is I got a refund pending. Very unhappy customer.

Curbside pickup (for yard mulch) left much to be desired, when I had to go inside - and not just the garden center - to the online order pickup counter and get a print out to drive through the curbside pickup! My Lowe's app had the paid barcode ready to be scanned. My local Lowe's is much more efficient.
I do not recommend shopping at this location.

Got what I needed, price was fair, was able to find assistance with no effort when I needed it, my only gripe is self check out only. I dislike this trend in every way.
