“I took the 4 Week Introductory Garment class as a way to understand the basics after I impulse bought a sewing machine and realized that trying to learn from online videos/tutorials just wasn't cutting it for me. The instructor, LaTerry, was fantastic - kept the class engaging and she was supportive of everyone's skill levels, style, and goals for what they wanted out of the class. Definitely recommend Sew Modest as they give a great foundational knowledge with everything you need to be successful in the class. I'll for sure sign up for future classes, especially the alterations course!”

“I want to leave this comment because I know it might serve as a guide for another mom when looking for a preschool in the area. When I was searching for a school for my first and only child, I came across so many options and very few ways to verify the credibility, reputation, or even history of the childcare centers. DELC was one of the first places I visited, and I was immediately impressed. However, at that time, my son wasn’t potty trained yet, and the program I was interested in required it. While we worked toward that milestone, I enrolled him in another nearby center. Even though I didn’t know much about the dynamics at DELC, I just knew there was something better out there, and that my son wasn’t thriving where he was (he was getting sick every week). That became a constant source of worry, so I decided to withdraw him.

Once he was almost fully potty trained, I spoke with Miss Sandra, and they agreed to accept him. I can honestly say that from day one, the peace of mind I felt leaving my son in DELC’s care remained constant throughout the two full years he was there. Since starting at DELC, the frequency of his illnesses dropped by 98%, thanks to the place’s incredible cleanliness. My son didn’t speak a single word of English at first, and today, I can say he’s bilingual. With love and patience, Miss Stacy and the entire staff helped dissolve my biggest fear. My son quickly adapted to the environment.

Every activity, celebration, and important milestone was highlighted in the most beautiful way by the entire staff. I am so thankful to Miss Sandra and Miss Stacy for all the support she gave us during this time, the understanding and dedication they have here is unmatched. DELC didn’t just become a safe place for my child, they became part of our family. I would recommend this place a million times over, and if I were to have another child, I would enroll them here without a second thought. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ We will miss you ?”

“I love it, the school has very fun and interesting courses and band was fun. But, some of the kids are just unpredictable. I got punched and threatened ?. You have to watch out, but its a fun school as long as you are ready to learn. But. Most teachers dont turn heads when you are doing bad,unless you come to them and ask for help.”

“I enrolled my daughter in Midtown KinderCare in October of 2023. I was quite nervous about her adjusting, as she had been at another center for 2 years. I have been extremely pleased with the care and attention she has received. I love that she enjoys going to school each day, and when she is sick, she is upset that she will miss school and her friends. Miss Angela, Miss Lilley, and Miss Mahogany in the pre-K class are all great! They are patient and attentive to the kids. And don't get me started on Ms. Marilyn and Ms. Victoria. I LOVE the fact that each morning when my daughter walks into the center, she is greeted by name by both Ms. Marilyn and Ms. Victoria. The care that Ms. Marilyn has for the kids and the center shows! Great job!!!”

“Love how welcoming and helpful 9 month bump is! They always show interest in what your in there for. Got my daughters masks from here for the first time because we struggled finding ones they liked fit wise and they are the best ones I have yet to find for my 2 & 5 year old with an amazingly reasonable price through all of this pandemic right now will be back for more and more bows and more clothes!”
