“Great small local grocery store offering fresh produce, great names in the deli (like Boar's Head and Kowalski), delicious grab and go options (salads, dips, grape leaves, rotisserie chicken!) Don't sleep on the meat section: while it is a smaller than a traditional grocer, what they offer is excellent quality (ribs, steaks, sirloins, kabobs, fresh Italian sausage, ground meats, even a meatloaf mix!) Folks there are super kind, attentive and helpful!!”
“The canned octopus was off the chain, I loved it! The feta cheese was phenomenal I mean where can you find anything this delicious and fresh tasting?! Dino was absolutely the most kind gentleman/store clerk that anyone could ask for. The wooden interior of the store was rather exquisite and gave the feeling of living near a coastline. The true spirit of Greece and the True spirit of Michigan in one place. Next time I would love to try the olives ? I absolutely adore this grocery store and give you 5/5! “Kroger's a good store to shop and unwind in a very pleasant atmosphere there are always lots of helpers stock people restocking the aisles in the cold foods and Frozen foods there's people working behind the deli that's always ready to help you and get you the best foods available the produce manager is fantastic he will red bag vegetables that may be turning a little brown around the edges and overall is a very pleasant experience”

Proof that feedback actually works! My previous 1-star review is now a 5-star recommendation. The transformation since August is incredible—no more littered lots, plenty of functional carts at the entrance, and a cafe area you’d actually want to sit in. Huge shoutout to the management team for taking ownership and making this Kroger a neighborhood gem again. Night and day difference!
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This store desperately needs better management and a renewed focus on customer experience. My most recent visit on August 19th was incredibly frustrating. The parking lot was completely littered with shopping carts, making it difficult to find a space and navigate. The problem extends inside, as there wasn't a single cart available at the entrance because they were all scattered outside.
This isn't a new issue. I've been shopping here for years, and the lack of cleanliness and organization is a recurring problem. Back in April, the store's cafe area was full of trash, and the parking lot was similarly unkempt. On top of that, a majority of the carts (about 7 out of 10) are often broken or difficult to use.
I've attached photos and a video of the cart area from my most recent visit to show the extent of the problem. It's time for new management to step up and address these ongoing issues. This store has the potential to be a great place to shop, but these basic operational failures are making it a consistently negative experience.”

“This store is a gem. The tea selection is better than Better Health. They carry gluten free flours and the specialty sauces I need to drive to Troy to the Asian food stores for. Years back it was the bulk candy aisle that I loved, but now I appreciate the baking supplies and random shipments of Mackinaw Island fudges and McClure's pickles.”
