“This store is a gem. The tea selection is better than Better Health. They carry gluten free flours and the specialty sauces I need to drive to Troy to the Asian food stores for. Years back it was the bulk candy aisle that I loved, but now I appreciate the baking supplies and random shipments of Mackinaw Island fudges and McClure's pickles.”

“Great small local grocery store offering fresh produce, great names in the deli (like Boar's Head and Kowalski), delicious grab and go options (salads, dips, grape leaves, rotisserie chicken!) Don't sleep on the meat section: while it is a smaller than a traditional grocer, what they offer is excellent quality (ribs, steaks, sirloins, kabobs, fresh Italian sausage, ground meats, even a meatloaf mix!) Folks there are super kind, attentive and helpful!!”

“If it’s Greek, Stouka’s stocks it…. From feta to phyllo Nino stocks it all. A great cheese selection and an olive oil for everybody.
Best Kalamata olives I have ever tasted. Get them with pits or without pits, they will blow those funky grocery store olives out of the water. On 9 mile just west of Harper.”

“This has been my favorite Kroger since I was young. I wanted to emphasize how helpful and kind all of the staff is here. The other day my boyfriend and I stopped in to get bread to make homemade croutons, and we asked the bakery if they had any stale bread we could use. The baker couldn’t find any and apologized, but it was no big deal. We were already on the other side of the store when the baker came RUNNING up to us with the perfect bag of stale bread for our croutons. He was so kind and I’m insanely impressed that he managed to track us down on the other side of the store just to give us the bread. I wish I got his name but he was so kind and helpful!!!”

“To all of those in here whining about the long lines at the checkout... well... they have job postings! Be part of the solution and hire in!. :) . Problem is people don't want entry level jobs for entry level wages, they want top dollar for it. Then they complain about high grocery prices because the cost of higher wages have to be covered by higher product prices. This is not specific only to groceries, it's in every job classification, almost all of which have worker shortages right now.”
