“It's Ollie's so if you go in with that mindset, you'll know what to expect. Different merchandise and stock rotating constantly. The store always seems to be in a bit of disarray. Definitely understaffed though. On my visit there was only one checkout open and probably 10 people waiting to check out. Keep your eyes peeled and you'll find a good deal”
“Good prices and this is the only store that carries canned greens (collards, mustard, turnip and spinach) with no sugar added. This is important to me because I am a Certified Wellness Coach and our healthy weight loss program requires a lot of vegetables and no sugar. The staff is friendly and helpful.”

“Always open when they say they are. Wide variety of items and always stocked. I live one mile away and have only found one random item that they didn’t have…. Otherwise I have always found what I went for and some items I wouldn’t expect them to have but they do! Staff always friendly and helpful”
“Great experience here... Filled my cart full of groceries and checked out, when I went to pay for the items, I realized I had forgotten my wallet... I told the cashier and put my cart behind the counter... I went home and returned to Dollar General and paid for my items... This clerk is to be commended! She figured out a way to keep the store running smoothly without having to run my items thru the check out a second time... I believe she was the first shift manager... Thank God for her consideration and concern for her customers! This incident happened today, 04-20-2021... And, she was able to do this, help customers, stock shelves and deal with a disgruntled employee all at the same time... Good job Dollar General on your choice of employees...”

“I’d love to give a big shout out to Jessica the store manager and the cashier named Jordan for finding my wallet today in their store, my wife was in there to get some stuff and by an accident. She dropped our wallet. I would’ve been at the creek without a paddle if it wasn’t pretty fine people looking me up on Facebook to get our wallet returned to us thank God we were still over at the TA truckstop waiting to get in the shop and they got a hold of us. There’s a special place in heaven for a great people like those two I believe they deserve some kind of promotion because it wasn’t for them. Thank you to Stacy, the woman who filled balloons for me and also helped me out at the car when she saw me struggling with a baby in my arms and a handful of balloons. She helped me put my other bag in the trunk and then let me set down the baby in his seat while she held the balloons for me. Just wonderful customer service”
“There are pros and cons to this store as any other store. I've never had issues here. Most recently I needed to return a box of diapers to the berrien springs location. The cashier there automatically said that without a receipt there was nothing she could do. Now, mind you, I did retail management and more for over 6 years and most if not all retails stores carry a policy that deals with no receipt issues. I frustrated as I walked in the door letting her know I did not have the receipt and I needed to exchange them for a more expensive brand which meant it would look good on their nightly report as it would impact their return rates negatively but their revenue would be impacted positively.I went back home to St. Joe and went into my regular family dollar. At first the manager told me I had to go to Berrien Springs which I completely understand as it would negatively impact their numbers in more ways that one, but I told her my experience and what transpired. She went ahead and took care of me by taking a box of diapers I did not buy at their store and allowed me to exchange them. I had already read up on their receipt policy for Family Dollar which clearly says up to 3 items within 30 days of purchase may be returned without a receipt and refund will be given based on the current price not the price at which the items were purchased.While not everyone has the same experience here, I continue to come here because I've not had a single issue with staff and I know how lazy retail employees can get in not doing their job. They do their job to the best of their ability considering every type of customer based store is short staffed, you're gonna get that entitled customer who didn't get enough whoopings, most times corporate doesn't do anything to help other than bark orders to meet "numbers" with broken systems, can get a good lunch break, etc. And to maintain a level of positivity is extremely difficult yet all my times here I've never heard anyone yell at a customer who is NOT always right.”
