“So the corn went from bringing whatever size bag you wanted to bring and fill it for a $1. Then, a couple years ago when it changed ownership, it switched to having to fill their very tiny plastic bags for $2 a bag, and I was able to squeeze a lot of corn in it. That's what made it fun. This year you had to use their bags again but the corn couldn't stick out the top and it's now $3 a bag. Maybe you could get 7-8 ears in it. Maybe! When you do the division and decipher the cost of each ear, it no longer is a benefit for me to drive all the way up to michigan, to get all you can stuff in a bag. For the same price, I can buy it at any fruit or vegetable stand in toledo. I do want to point out that it's excellent corn and with prices rising and transportation and gas and oil. I get it. Stuffing the bags of corn used to be a game for me but now it's no different than going to any other fruit and vegetable stand. It's not like I won't stop there when I'm in the area because I do like the place. It's just not going to be routine trips for me anymore. Their prices are no different than anyone closer to me. They're no longer the basement, bargain best prices in town. A side note the store always looks beautiful and clean. There is always, always somebody out on the floor that can help you, unlike kroger.”

The local sweet corn 🌽 is 💣 Last trip I picked up all the produce to make fresh spring rolls, which we're delicious tonight for dinner. 😋 --- ORIGINAL REVIEW --- Definitely my preferred produce market in the area. More expensive vs Cilino's but produce seems to last longer.”

“The store was clean and the shelves pretty well stocked. They have a decent selection of grocery items with some lesser-known brands. We gambled on a few today and shall see. The cashier lanes were moving efficiently. The quarter for a cart thing is still weird to me and I left mine in the cart like always. I struggled between and 3 and 4 stars for the rating, but gave them the benefit of the doubt this time.”

“Wow! I can’t believe I haven’t come here more often. Everything is in order and the store is so clean. I love how they are way more affordable and the steps they are taking to reduce waste. They really have it in the bag. There are plenty of fresh options with good brands without being overwhelming. I will say if you’re looking for certain personal care items there’s slim pickings in that department. Otherwise this has definitely become my go to grocery spot. Don’t forget your own bags!”
