“I cannot recommend Empower Automotive enough. I took my Ford Fusion here after being quoted thousands of dollars elsewhere for what was assumed to be a steering rack replacement. Instead of jumping straight to the most expensive fix, Empower took the time to actually diagnose the problem step by step, and along the way they caught a serious brake issue that had been completely missed by another shop.
The Service Advisor, Austin, was incredible throughout the entire process. He was kind, patient, communicative, and honest, even when the answers weren’t what I was hoping for. I never felt pressured, rushed, or talked down to. Every step was explained clearly, options were laid out transparently, and safety and accuracy were always prioritized over convenience.
This ended up being a complex repair that took time, but I truly believe Empower saved me from unnecessary repairs and potentially dangerous issues down the road. When the correct solution was finally identified, they helped me choose the most reasonable and affordable option and stood behind their work. Out the door, everything they did with my car cost less than just the steering rack another shop quoted me.

I had taken my truck to a Mechanic and they charged me quite a lot of money and never fixed the problem. I then called my friend Kim at KC auto on Garfield and he referrede to D&W.
I was able to bring my truck in, have it assessed properly and come up with a plan to have it fixed correctly.
It is now fixed and has been running smooth. The torque converter was replaced and I have had zero issues since.
This means so much to me, that they were able to get this fixed properly and get me back on the road.”

“I was in my first ever accident in October 2025, and was very uncertain of the process, who could help, and what to do, all while managing the mental challenges associated with the accident itself. A family member recommended Sonny's, and luckily they worked with my insurance. When I reached out everyone was so friendly, asking me how I was and set up a day-of estimate appointment which was a miracle for me due to my work hours. They were able to schedule me in about two weeks after my accident as luckily my vehicle was still drivable.
They estimated two weeks for the repairs, but it was ready after about 7 Business Days, so much sooner than expected! They also detailed the inside of the car which was an unexpected surprise. I'm very happy with their work and the experience I had with them. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to have work done for their vehicle. As for the pricing, they worked through my insurance so I only paid my deductible, and it was a very smooth process on my end.”

I had what seemed to be an indicator bulb burned out, but since my 2010 Subaru is older and has other minor electrical issues (e.g., electric windows), I asked that they check a couple other things as well, while the car was in their shop. They replaced the bulb and checked everything else too, and just charged my one small fee for the bulb. Kind, efficient, effective, fair. Everything one wants in an auto mechanic.”

We were in town for vacation when our GMC Sierra’s dashboard suddenly displayed an engine warning. Not knowing what was wrong—and with a 4-hour drive home ahead—we were in a bit of a panic.
