“Headline: Adam saves stranded desperate out-of-state strangers! How do you write a short review without sacrificing the importance? On Saturday (July 18) evening at the TCHS our car was dead. A TCHS employee recommended Adam, and fortunately he was at the horse show filming for them. The battery did not hold a charge so Adam bought a new one and installed it. Car still wouldn’t start. The car was towed to his shop at 11:00 pm. Sunday morning (July 19) he informed us there were several things the car needed, that it was fixed and ready to go. That’s the “mechanics” of it.

Now the importance. We were out-of-state boomers, scheduled to leave on Sunday and found ourselves with no working car. That screams vulnerable and desperate; easy prey. What are the chances of finding a mechanic who after working all day on a Saturday would go and buy a battery, install it, and then work on and fix a car in the middle of the night (remember it was towed at 11:00pm) for strangers who would have had to rent a car and find new lodgings? On top of that, Adam had to be at the horse show early Sunday morning to film all day. Well, the odds are slim to none.

To call Adam a hero is an understatement. He is the exemplary of a decent human with a kind soul. The type of person you don’t hear about much and rarely meet by chance, or if at all.

To highly recommend Adam (without hesitation) just doesn’t capture our lifelong gratitude to him. For sure it’s a story that will be passed on.”

“We were in a jam. We were visiting Michigan from Virginia in our Chrysler van when it began to overheat. We limped our way to our destination in Williamsburg where our friend drove us around. We stopped at a auto parts store and was given three mechanic's name's in the area and B&D was the first one. We needed to get back on the road soon as we had appointments in Ohio.
