“Exceptional Living Experience and Stunning Scenery at Cornerstone at Troy

I have been living at Cornerstone at Troy for some time now, and I can honestly say it’s the best residential community in the Troy area. What first caught my eye were the beautiful small lakes and the perfectly manicured landscaping. Walking around the complex feels like being in a park; it’s so peaceful and scenic, especially during sunset.

The sense of community here is wonderful. The neighbors are incredibly friendly and respectful, which makes it feel very safe and welcoming. I’m also consistently impressed by the management and maintenance teams. Whenever I’ve had a minor issue, the maintenance staff responded almost immediately and fixed everything perfectly on the first visit. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty with top-notch service, this is it!”

“We recently moved in and all has been going smoothly so far. From the beginning Judy has been really helpful and in constant communication, even before we decided for this place she would follow up with us and make sure we had all our questions answered, which helped choosing this community. Love her energy and she does seem to care about her tenants!
We moved from out of state and Judy made sure everything was setup and ready for us to move in. They made accommodations for us to use our own washer and dryer, which is a great help!
The community is good and location even better, so close to Auburn Hills downtown, and you can't beat the river view from our bedroom!
Some minor details in the unit that will be resolved through maintenance orders.
We also met Paul from maintenance and he's also very knowledgeable and accessible.
We're excited to call this place home and hopeful all remains as smooth as it has been so far, will provide update as our tenancy goes!”

“I have looked at many apartments throughout the area and called even more to get information. I have a unique situation and a lot of people have been rude or unhelpful but from the moment I spoke with the leasing manager, Dana, he treated me with kindness, respect, empathy and has ALWAYS followed up as promised. Gives all info, very honest.

I’m going to decide within the next couple of days, but at any rate, I wanted to leave this review and show my true gratitude towards you. You are one of few people that I feel like would listen to me and help me. It means a lot.

I would highly recommend that anyone looking for an apartment in the area to come here. They make the experience easy from day one.

“I lived here for 2 years and recently moved out as I bought a place! We loved our stay, the community is a nice place to walk around! The management (Tracey) is the best, she is always responsive and on top of everything. Super helpful on any emergencies. We had very few maintenance request over the last two years and the maintenance (Jose) is also super helpful and quick to fix everything. Our move out experience was also good and they were so transparent on all the deductions came out of my deposits. Loved that place and highly recommend if you love a quiet, clean and safe place to live!”

“have never had a problem with Stacy when I had a question to ask. Everywhere we live needs updates and personal attention. Not even a brand new house is perfect it has flaws.
I will say Stacy's does make sure the complex is clean. Grown adults wanna live in the community so let's all pick up a little trash, lets all vacuum our hallway, clean the window etc.
After all we have to live hear so let's make a difference.. When your screen is hanging out your window fix it. Instead of blaming one person trying to keep a roof over everyones head in a nice location.Oh and for everyones information, Stacy has been married to the same MAN for 24 years and has a son! So why does everyone assume she is a lesbian and who cares if she was! That's the best and funny part about all this! Treat where you live not like back alley! Do your part and all the stress wouldn't be on Stacy and it will stay a happy, beautiful community. I really feel bad that everyone would puts Stacy down like they have. Buy her a box of candy, say Thank you Stacy for keeping up the building so we have a place to live. Everything take time, patience and doing our part. PLEASE stop acting like a child clean up after yourself and maybe she can have more time for for everyone! Be nice we never know what others are going through!

“Moved in not too long ago and everything has been great. Lisa helped me get all moved in and was very nice. Maintenance is very good as well. Very affordable rent. The apartment rooms look great and they take good care of the apartment rooms. Everything was clean when I moved in my apartment. The hallways are a little dark but other than that everything is great!”

Only thing I wish was available is an in unit washer and dryer. I hate going to laundry room. However I do highly recommend this community for seniors. “I lived at Amber Apartments on Mansfield Ave for nearly 20 years, and it truly felt like home. The office staff on Crooks Road were always friendly, professional, and accommodating. Maintenance was prompt, reliable, and handled issues quickly. Moving out to purchase my home was bittersweet, which says a lot about how well-managed this community is. The stars are for the staff and their work ethic. As for the property you just need to take it for what it is and the rest is fantastic. Maintenance is very quick, but make sure to use the internet portal to make all your tickets. All the buildings have aluminum windows so be sure to have your heat on in the winter!

Some parts are a bit crowded with cars and parking can be difficult, but their car ports are pretty reasonably priced as far as I’ve seen. And to the person complaining about being towed in the 1 star review, honestly you should have been towed hundreds of times before you actually were towed. You parked on the grass, you parked in my spot, you’ve parked in my neighbors spots, forcing people to park further away from their homes while they’re paying for the parking spot that you’re using, you are lazy and inconsiderate.

While I’m complaining about people, to the pasty white kid with the absurdly huge truck who bumps bass at 1am I should have called the cops on you so much more than I have, you are a child. As a note to everyone reading this, if you have a problem with noise at unreasonable hours, just call the auburn hills non emergency # I haven’t had good experiences with police, but shockingly the officers around the area haven’t been horrible.

So yeah, thin walls, bad windows, and only a few lousy neighbors are my only complaints and you’ll honestly find those issues literally everywhere. Other than that, this is a fantastic place to live as far as location, management, and maintenance are concerned, the staff actually cares! Which is shocking compared to other places I’ve lived.”

“I lived here June 2024-2025 and it was overall a good living experience. My main complaint is that marketing the complex as “luxury” is a bit of a stretch, when the unrenovated apartments look like they haven’t been updated at all since the early 2000s. I lived in an unrenovated 1 bedroom and was shocked that they bumped the rent up to $1440 after I moved out when you can see the dated kitchen flooring peeling up behind the appliances. The common areas (entryway & hallways) in my building smelled horrible with various stains on the carpeting that never got professionally cleaned or replaced, despite my multiple requests to do so. The gym is also kind of sad with aged equipment that needs to be replaced, but still gets the job done for the average person. They marketed tennis courts and a walking trail to me when I first toured this complex—in reality, the tennis courts are so overgrown and totally unmaintained that they’re unusable, and the walking trail is really just a mowed stretch of grass alongside the very loud waterpark immediately next door.

For the price I was paying in rent, I expected better out of the “luxury amenities” the website boasts. That said, the pool is wonderful in the summertime and was always clean when I used it. Neighbors are friendly but quiet. The location is perfect, with Meijer or the beautiful nature trail down the road within walking distance, and a 5 minute drive from Costco. The management and maintenance teams were among the best I’ve had renting, and I really appreciated their patience and quick responses to the various issues I’ve needed addressed. Overall I think what they’re charging is very overpriced for the value (as is the case anywhere in this rental market), but if you want quiet, drama-free living then this is the place to be. Despite my complaints above I don’t regret living here and I’m thankful to have had a primarily pleasant experience!”

“I’ve had a great experience living at Cambridge Square. The community feels safe, the neighbors are friendly, and it’s been a wonderful place to call home.

One of the biggest reasons I’ve enjoyed living here is Tyler. He is incredibly attentive, caring, and always willing to help residents when needed. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the community and works hard to make sure concerns are addressed promptly.

The maintenance team is also excellent and consistently responds in a timely manner. Any issues I’ve had have been handled quickly and professionally.

Overall, Cambridge Square is a well-maintained, welcoming community with great management and staff. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and safe place to live.”

“Super awesome place to live in, especially as a student. The apartment looks beautiful, the interior is great, and the gym has free weights! The best part, however, is the staff. They are incredibly easy to contact and are always a text or call away. Two folks in particular--Alexxis Locke and Angelo Johnson--go above and beyond. I locked myself out of my apartment on a weekend, and they had someone down here and ready to let me back in within minutes. Anytime I have a problem or something to discuss, I go down and chat with Alexxis. Fantastic employee who deserves every raise and promotion in the book!”
