“Edit: 12/14/25 Oil & Filter for $35 and wipers for $40. In and out super fast. No high pressure upselling. Went to Victory Lane for my last oil change and was spammed by email and phone after. Will be returning to Gulf again for the next go round.

EDIT:11/4/23 Went back for oil and a filter. Aren't economies of scale great? Been doing my own changes for almost 10 years now. My total was $32.84 and was in and out in about 10 min. I would be hard pressed to pick up or order a filter and 5 quarts of 5w30 for that much. The big thing is time getting the truck up on ramps, getting the tools & drain pan out, getting covered in oil, adding the proper amount, disposing of the old oil, and cleaning up. Knowing how to do your own work is great but oil changes probably aren't something you're going to save money on by doing it yourself. Will be returning if the location is still convenient in the future. Tye, Rob, and Trisha were great as they were last time.

Only been here once but would consider returning. I would love to do all my own work but access to tools/facilities makes some work better serviced by shops. Went in for a 4x4 service (Differentials and transfer case fluid) and a transmission fluid change. Sent in for a quote via their website before they opened and Sam offered an $80 discount for both services via email while I was in the shop. Usually $249.99 for 4x4 Service and the Transmission was quoted $129.99. After arriving they informed me they didn't have the correct transmission fluid on hand (5 speed manual Silverado). I asked if they could provide the service if I drove to the NAPA for the fluid. I came back with the proper fluid and they charged me $35 so the total for all work that day with tax was $300. Had Trisha, Tye, and Katy (Maybe a Sean too?). All very friendly and cost less than half of what I was quoted from the Milan Chevrolet dealer. Went above and beyond to get the transmission fluid changed out (as they had to jerry rig a solution since there was very limited space to access the fill port). I usually do my own oil changes but I will price the work to see if it makes more sense to return.”

I'm glad I took their advice! Mike is great to deal with! He's super honest, up front, and looks out for customers' best interest. I felt like I was well taken care of and was not ripped off. They warranty ALL their work for 2 years and claim to use good quality parts. Honestly I'd rather pay more for parts if that means I'm not getting cheap parts that will only last me for a shorter period of time. I only had my rear brakes/rotors done but will definitely be back in 2-4 weeks to get my fronts done. Great job guys!!”

“For years I've updated how great Clark's car care is. Here I am again saying and giving praises to Doug and his staff. Doug is the greatest mechanic ever in my area , I say this because you take your car to say umm Belle tire to get your tire change and they come back and tell you about this catastrophic event that's going to happen to your brakes that can be fixed for only 500$. To only go to Doug who laughed at me and said 165 and it will be done better than them. You now I got my tire change and left with a busted tire sensor that was perfectly fine when I came in. With all that said, I'll always take my car to Clark's because he won't over charge you,he'll always tell you the truth about what you need done versus what you think you need done or what someone says,at a very reasonable price. I always go to him for a second opinion, he's my car doctor. Only thing he doesn't do tires??”

“They're a bit pricey, but they know what they're doing. Other sites are expensive too, and they do rubbish. Abe and Ali amazing service, they explain everything in detail, they show you the part to be change, they look for ways to benefit both parties in terms of labor and price. As a female this places sometimes makes me feel overwhelmed, not this place. Definitely would and will recommend this place.”

“My family and I have been taking our vehicles to Beth at Howe for many years and every time we go it’s always a great experience, we drive 40+ minutes to bring our damage to Howe!!!

I recently had a hit and run and Beth knowing I am busy college student worked with me and my busy schedule to get it situated so that I was without a car. Howe is so easy with scheduling and gets the job done much quicker than expected. The rental car place was taking a while to pick me up from the collision shop and Beth and Erin who work the front desk offered to take me over so I wasn’t sitting there. Whoever works in the back does an amazing job as every time we’ve picked up a vehicle it looks as if the damage never happened! They set a high standard and it shows!!!”

“I needed my windshield replaced and also my mirror. I remembered I went to Knudsen brothers probably 7 years ago and remembered they did a good job, I am so glad i remembered that they were good because they were amazing this time around too. I needed it done quickly because I was turning in my lease last minute so they got me in the next day and finished it all in one day! They were so reasonable and actually personable to where they listened to what you needed. We originally got an estimate at the dealership and it was so ridiculous and they couldn’t get me in for a few weeks and I felt like it was all just routine get people in and out. Knudsen brothers gave my car back and I almost didn’t want to turn my lease back in because of how good it looked when I got it back! My window and mirror were fixed but the outside and inside of my car looked like I got it detailed. It was a nice little touch especially because I was dreading doing all of that while I was pregnant! Front desk was also so sweet. She turned a movie on for my kids while we were going over everything that needed to be done which of course was helpful also. I don’t ever remember coming home from any other collision shop bragging how good they were and how amazing my car looked. I would recommend them a million times! I don’t even remember who recommended them to me but I remembered them for a reason! Thank you guys so much!”

“Tony and the guys here are great. This is the opposite of the classic disgruntled/grumpy/dirty mechanic shop where you're made to feel kinda dumb for not understanding everything or asking about prices.

Not here. First off to book an appointment is a breeze, and precise. When you leave your car there with a problem, you get a text/email with a link that takes you to a full run-down of their diagnosis with 'accept/approve' and 'deny/pass' options with pricing for each item; no hidden nonsense. As a business owner I know that took an investment in tech, and I'm sure its paid off for these guys. Second, you're greeted respectfully and given a run down of the work allowing you to ask any questions; even price breakdown, without getting an attitude. Lastly, though the building is small, they offer you coffee/water, few places to sit, and chat if you want to wait for a simpler service (oil change, etc.).”

“As someone who has always leased cars and done my own maintenance, I have never been established with mechanic before, and was dreading the task of finding one. I was looking around the area for a place to get brakes done and stopped in to 3 shops to speak with staff about options. Auto Ave made the most sense not only in price, but the employees were knowledgeable, friendly, clean shop. My brakes were replaced at a price I was happy with, and the was job done within a few hours time. Communication was good back and forth.
