“I love the personalized service I get whenever I come to this hardware store. Nothing will ever be like the 'old-school' hardware store (I'm old), but this certainly comes close. I find that they stock all (or most) of the items the big box stores have. If they don't have something, usually one of the associates can find a substitute that will work...and you can ALWAYS find someone to help! Great place!”

“I wish I got the name of the employee who helped me to give a special shout out. The employee asked me if I found everything okay and I thought I was good to go, he saw in my basket I had the wrong attachments for the tool I was getting, and grabbed me the right one. Extra grateful for that employee for saving me a trip and proactively helping me out. Will definitely be coming back here. On top of that I got some great tools for half the price I would have paid at other stores.”

“Product shipped and received in a timely manner, though the mandrels were not as expected.Some were rusty and the rust continues to grow like cancer. Others were fine and are without rust today. North Idaho is pretty dry in the winter, so humidity should not be much of an issue.Gummy tape residue requires solvent to remove prior to the mandrels serving a useful purpose.”

“Had a decent order of weird sized pipe and connectors, most of the order had to be ordered and shipped, came in and was ready for pick up in just a couple days. Fair priced, and knowledgeable help made the weird order tolerable. Highly recommend.”
“I drive right by the ghetto Harper Woods location to get to this one. Friendly and helpful staff and they always have what I need. The appliance guy spent easily over 20 minutes with my wife and I picking out a perfect dishwasher. Don't find that kind of service much anymore.”

“Yesterday, 9-26, I went to Ace Hardware and let me tell you the customer service was top notch. All of my questions were answered without feeling rushed and everyone took out the time to give me personalized attention, even the cashier was excellent! I wish I had their names to review here. Hopefully corporate sees this.
Today, I returned to Ace and had a problem with something I bought from another store-then I met Steve. He not only helped me but went way above and beyond to make sure my issue was fixed. He made me feel like such a valuable customer!
