I highly recommend their emergency office, for any animal situation that is in need of being addressed immediately and cannot wait for an appointment. “I have been going to this Vet for over 20 years. My two Pomeranian puppies had to get fixed and it broke my heart for them to have to go through this. They understood and tried to make it as pain free and a comfortable process . I recommend to get the healing PJs so your dog doesn’t have to wear a cone !”
“I have been trying to find a Vet for my toy poodle for years. I am glad to say that we have finally found that place. Everyone from the front of the Vet to the back are extremely patient, compassionate, and understanding. The doctors listen. They don't rush. They answer questions. They make everyone feel comfortable. My dog is a senior poodle. She has been ill a couple of times this year. The doctors at Romeo Vetrinarian Hospitals were thr first doctors in awhile who didn't recommend putting my fur baby to sleep. Had we listened to other Vet doctors, my dog would have been euthanized over a year ago. I am happy to find this place. I just wish I would have found them sooner. It's good to be able to see any doctor at this pet hospital and get the same wonderful treatment. I would recommend this place 10 out of 10.”

What great service even knowing that I was not going to be a client there she was still compassionate and kind, took time to talk and listen to me. If I didn't already have a great vet I would be coming there, truly commendable!!”

“Everyone has always been nice to myself and my family members as well as my furbabies. I’ve been using Shelby Vet for every single furbaby I’ve had since I was 6. The first time I had to experience death was with my first hamster who had a type of infection/possible cancer. I do believe it was Dr Blough that walked me thru the entire process and made it a little less scary and sad. Thank u Dr Blough. Dr Walker has been great with my standard schnauzer Diesel. She treated him with such love and kindness and compassion up until his final breath in Aug of 2022. Dr Walker and Dr Smith have been great with Chance. He’s a bit of an anxiety mess when we have to come but both have been instrumental in getting what we need done. They’ve been great with providing an estimate of what needs to be done before even starting which I appreciate. All of the techs and front staff are excellent. Thank u everyone for all the love y’all show to all the 4-legged and 2-legged clients.”

“Everyone I dealt with at Cat Care was amazing! All three of my cats came to me as strays at different times. Two adjusted well, but Eli, #3, has been a challenge. My regular vet was at a loss and couldn't help me. Although Eli loves me, he has a Jekyll- Hyde personality in addition to other issues. I know some people would choose to euthanize him, but the Cat Care staff understood that I can't give up yet. They were understanding, kind, and gentle to a very terrified, angry cat. They knew just what to do. I am very relieved to know that they will continue to help me help Eli.”

“Our senior dog had been diagnosed with pigmentary keratosis (dry eye). One eye was not responding anymore to prescription eye drops and was referred to Vet Vision. They ran some tests and changed prescription. Freddie responded exceptionally well, exceeding the clinic’s expectations! Very happy with our experience and results.”

“Lilly and Ally at the front desk are absolutely lovely, so kind and helpful! They assisted me on the phone over the course of two days regarding a flea situation w/ my dog, Lexie, and she's not even a patient under their care! Long story short, Lexie's regular vet from another practice was unavailable and I called Companion Animal Care needing advice and guidance about fleas. Lilly and Ally were incredibly compassionate, willing to help and went above and beyond in a time of need. I can't thank them enough for the time and energy they invested as well as the reassurance and knowledge they gave me! If the rest of the staff at Companion are even half as wonderful as Lilly and Ally than you won't go wrong making an appointment for your pet there!”

“first time visit (on a Sunday). What a great resource for pet owners of the community. First class service from check-in to exit. Very reasonable wait time and not in a communal area but a private room. The vet and vet techs were consummate professionals (caring, compassionate and very thorough in explaining every step in the treatment). We were provided with a printed copy of the treatment and what we needed to do @ home. A copy was also forwarded to our regular vet. Our rescue border collie was so relaxed with the gentle care that he wanted to stay with one of the female vet techs who he took to which is highly unusual for his encounters with strangers.”
