“I was looking for an outfit for a Diwali party. I found a great dress but also had an enjoyable visit and gained a lot of knowledge about appropriate clothes for Diwali and the upcoming wedding I'm invited to. Patient and knowledgeable staff. Wide selection of styles, colors, and sizes (surprising for such a tiny shop). A few days later I brought in my very dubious husband; he found several outfits he liked (and bought two!). Good prices (as far as I can tell from comparisons online) and they do alterations! What's not to like?”

“I needed a suit jacket tailored at the last minute...and I mean last minute. I had two days until an event and the staff at Sam Michael's was wonderful. Before I even brought the jacket in, they were quick to respond to my queries and request on Yelp. It's a family-owned business, and you can tell that they take their craft very seriously. The jacket was perfectly tailored and handled with care, and the turnover was amazingly fast. They were kind, quick, and so helpful. Beyond their tailoring services, they have lots of beautiful menswear you can purchase right in the store. I highly recommend this business and am grateful for their work!”

I was in a serious time crunch, and I needed a sports coat and slacks for my Uncle's funeral the next day. The young lady that assisted me on Monday, December 11th, was a miracle worker! She was very patient with me, and found me an excellent black sports coat that I could wear, right off the rack, and sent me to the equally-awesome Mr. Bazzi's shop, to put a quick hem in the pants! I was in-and-out of DXL in less than an hour, and home before my dinner got cold! “This has become favorite Kohl store on the NW side of Metro Detroit. Much larger section for women's clothing and good size home goods. Lots of parking and you can find someone to help you if needed. While it is located in a very busy area, if you take 12 Mile, you can avoid most of the back up traffic. Since it is larger, but not as large as the one near Southland Mall which is 2 story, it can carry more items and have 2 sets of registers going so you don't have to wait so long. I do enjoy their sales and 30% off coupon, but returning Amazon stuff also gets me out here. Snicky I think. Helping out Amazon while creating more foot traffic that end up shopping since you have to go to the back of the store for the return.”

I tried the usual suspects, kohl's, Macy's, target,old navy, etc. Walked in here on a whim. A nice young guy (wish I remembered his name) helped me out immediately and found what I needed within a minute or 2.”

“My mom and I came here to shop for an upcoming funeral. Right away, the staff greeted us and asked what brought us in. A guy named Logan helped us with the rest of the shopping. Whatever questions we had on color matches, sizes, or anything else, Logan had the answer to. It seemed like he had 20 years of experience with how informed he is, even though he is young. Logan is one of the most friendly people I’ve ever met in retail. He’s super easy to talk to, and relatable for me because we have the same build. He pretty much did all the shopping for us because he knew exactly what we needed. Whatever Logan is getting paid now is not enough. Please give him a raise because he deserves it.”
