“I can't say enough about the front desk staff at this location. I arrived for my reservation travelling with my elderly Mom. I didn't realize the hotel did not have an elevator and the Manager on duty was able to put me into a 1st floor room to accommodate my situation. We ended up with a pool side room with sliding glass door.The room and hotel had a very up north lodge feel to it. The room especially bathroom was a bit outdated but super clean. I did see the hotel was undergoing some renovations so I am looking forward to seeing what changes to the rooms are made.The Lumberjack restaurant that is connected to the hotel has very good food and I was impressed with the discount you get dining there if staying in the hotel. I also liked the idea of a gas station/convenience store being attached to the building as well. You literally could get everything you needed all under one roof.I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling up north and look forward to staying there again.Rooms: The rooms give a very up north lodge feel. A bit outdated especially the bathroom but both the main room and bathroom were super clean. I also noticed that the hotel rooms were undergoing renovations.Safety: Room key is needed to access any door that isn't the lobby door. Mini safes in the rooms. There is an added safety bar that can be lowered on the sliding glass door of any pool side room.Walkability: The hotel is within walking distance to the Outlet mall and a gas station/convenience storeFood & drinks: The attached Lumberjack restaurant/bar & gift shop had great food with great service. Also if staying at the hotel you are given a discount on your food bill.”
