“We stayed here for my sisters 30th birthday party. This was during the heat advisory and the AC went out at the venue during the day before our reservation. LeeAnn took care of the situation and was a true professional through the process of figuring it out.
The spot was clean, charming and exactly what we were looking for to host a beautiful party. I’ll definitely use it again for a get together!!”

“Rib fest 2019- 10 different bbq outfits all with their smokers billowing sweet & spicy smoke... filling First street in a haze that you must swim through to find the band playing Mississippi Queen. It's AWESOME. Come to Grand Haven tonight. You buy poker chips to transact for bones. Typically $4 in chips gets you two bones. Check out Daddy Petes bbq, by far the best ribs and bbq sauce. Their ribs were dripping off the bone. These guys know they have something good going on. I was truly impressed. For the best overall experience, try the rib without sauce first. Use the sauce sparingly. Their ribs were tantalizing without any sauce.”

“FABULOUS location! One block away from the Main Street. It was really easy to go grab some breakfast/takeout/shopping bags and bring it back to the room
The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s a little outdated. It was currently under renovation (signage said until November 2027) so hopefully that means they’re upgrading they’re rooms throughout the process. They were adding onto the hotel but we didn’t notice any noise during sleeping hours. Parking was a little dicey too, if you came back anytime in the evening. They had an event the last night we were there and that took up tons of parking spaces so we had to park In the electric car park only spot—told the front desk and they were okay with it
They’re also dog friendly, which was awesome. We brought our 2 mini dauschunds and staff wooed over them ☺
We stayed in a king suite for the space and it was the perfect amount of space. Had a large mini fridge/freezer and microwave, which was awesome! The large tub in the main room seemed odd/dated to me
Id absolutely stay here again though. Overall, good value for the location itself, friendly staff.”

“The rooms were adequate but a bit smaller and less maintained than other Holiday Inns we've stayed at. The door on the bathroom was jammed and the tub looked dirty. We were given incorrect information at check in which was a bit frustrating. The pools and outdoor space was very nice and there was a resort feel to the outdoor area. There is a Tiki Bar with very overpriced drinks but it's a great feature that adds to the resort ambiance. The restaurant needed more servers for the size but the food was delicious.”

“What an AMAZING experience. I want to thank Justin, Dimitri, City, Crystal, LoraEllen, Katrina and Rocco for making our day amazing. From booking to the big day we experienced great communication, expert advice, and all around a heart warming experience. The food was outstanding, all of our guests had great things to say! Bartenders were so lovely with our guests, and Justin’s DJ skills were able to bring the event to a dancing feast! Our master and mistress of ceremonies had nothing but great things to say about day of communication with the day of coordinator Dimitri, they appreciated all the helpful tips as well as easy problem solving that came. We can’t thank everyone enough for the entire experience. Highly recommend this venue, the love we felt from all staff was amazing. I sound like a broken record but seriously just loved the entire experience. We will definitely be back.”
