“This place is a goldmine! I travel for work & swung by here for a couple steaks. The gentleman working had an amazing knowledge of the different cuts of meat; and helped me pick out exactly what I wanted.

It was one of the top best tasting ribeye steaks ive ever had in my life. The price was well worth it.

We also had some fresh stuffed brats. And my god they were amazing! Will absolutely be back next time im in town!”

“This place is a hidden gem! As soon as you walk in you see they have an excellent selection of various hard to find and delicious meats, spices, rubs, and other goods.

The young man who helped me with our family’s prime rib did an incredible job cutting, netting, and seasoning it and the owner gave me spot on instructions for making the best prime rib I’ve ever had. His sons working the counter added extra charm in upselling us with delicious pepperoni logs for a snack on our way out.

We will definitely be back many times!”

“This place has a lot going for it. While the beef offerings weren’t wide ranging, they at least know how to cut a ribeye to proper thickness, which is more than I can say for the big box stores in the area. They also offer an above average amount of specialty, home-made products, including a few sausages, chorizo, marinated chicken, stuffed pork chops, etc. Complimented with the small amount of produce and dry goods, it’s a decent place to stop in and pick up a meal for the evening.

When we visited, the staff at the time could not tell me the farm their beef is sourced from. I’m familiar with answers such as Creekstone Farms, Snake River….Eventually, I was told it is ‘from Washington - the same place Gordon Ramsay gets his beef’ - which seemed more like a talking point; not sure how true that is.

We also picked up one link each of some of their sausage, only to have it weighed and packed in one container (fine) - with the price of the more expensive variety (less than ideal).

It’s worth a visit, but as a butcher shop, I expect the staff behind the counter to be excited and knowledgeable about the product they are selling. Good energy overall.”

“Hashems has always been my go to for the best Arabic coffee in town! Few things I respectfully recommend as a frequent patron, East Dearborn mixed nuts need to be in a closed container because I'm noticing they are a bit stale in those large sacks you have them displayed in.

Hashems in Dearborn Heights, the front cashiers are very respectful and helpful, the meat market guy was not. Not sure why? I was waiting in line a bit after 6pm and I asked for ground beef. I was quickly brushed off and told to go look in the center display for pre-packed ground beef. It was obviously completely empty. He quickly moved on to the next customer while I was trying to ask him a question.

So if your meat market closes at 6pm, why do you have someone serving customers behind the meat display? There was clearly beef displayed that could have been quickly ground up. It was a small order.

Thank you”

“I’ve been a regular at Namaste Fresh Meat for their good selection of meat and seafood, especially for their Pomfret. We usually place our order over the phone, and when I go to pick it up, the wait time is typically very minimal. But last week, when I went to pick up my order, there was a slight hiccup, it wasn’t ready, or they may have missed it. No worries, though! Within 10 minutes or less, they had it all ready. They were quick, and the Pomfret was cut into perfectly sized pieces, just as I requested.

A helpful tip: paying in cash gets you a discount, while there’s a 4% extra charge for card payments. Also, this place is usually quite busy, and I’ve never seen it without a crowd. So, it’s always best to place your order in advance to avoid any delays.

Situated in a busy strip mall with shared parking, Namaste Fresh Meat might have a small storefront, but it’s famous for the quality of its products. Everything is prepared in the back of the store, and when you go for pickup, it’s brought out to you. The staff cuts everything to your exact needs, and they make sure it’s nicely trimmed. All meats are hand-cut to order, which ensures freshness and quality.

The prices here are competitive, and the service is fast and reliable. If you’re looking for a place that offers fresh, quality meat and seafood, Namaste Fresh Meat is definitely worth the visit. Just be sure to plan ahead, especially since it’s always a popular spot! Overall, Great quality, excellent service, and competitive prices. Just make sure to place your order in advance to save time!”
