“Very helpful people kind and considerate store is clean the products are right priced. If you need help all you have to do is ask and someone will help you get but you need. Right now it's being re-done so it's a little inconvenient and some areas but they're trying to work with everybody! Has good parking handicap accessible plenty of carts”
“I didn't know bacon could be so good....well I did but this is a good old country experience like you just don't see anymore. It's a real hometown country store. With the prize being the bacon and fresh cut meats and high quality age beef that would satisfy any carnivore. It's pricey but for the quality service and experience it's well worth the stop. Try the chocolate covered bacon.”

There's another store in the area that should take lessons from this particular party store. Convenient, and clean. “This store used to be called Arlene's by locals who knew the previous owner, including myself.
I'd walk here often still in a swimsuit from the lake all the time as a kid to grab any number of staples and unique goods alike.
Plenty of niche and interesting candy, toys and drinks were stocked for kids like us.
Arlene's water gun selection was impeccable, and Arlene was always greatly amused by and very nice to kids like us.
These days we're all grown, many have moved away in every which direction and neither Arlene nor her husband are with us any longer yet I hear the new owner has done quite well with the hallowed establishment.
If my busy military career ever permits sometime this century I'll try to return and see how well exactly the place is getting on, and how similar or different to decades gone by the building and inventory are.

“Nice little place to pick up some food. I bought some ribeye stake there and they were the BEST stake I ever had I think its either I cooked it really well or they have good stakes I think it was both. If you cook it just right it will taste amazing.”
