Super friendly staff! This transaction was so easy, beginning with the wonderful and welcoming lady who initially took my call and processed my paperwork, to the tow truck driver who picked up my car within 24 hours. He was on time, friendly and really went above and beyond. They made this process so easy and paid me WAY MORE than other salvage yards offered! They were also much more efficient and friendly! They also paid in CASH! The other yard I called wanted me to drive there to pick up a check (for much less $).
In the future, I will certainly be going to East Michigan Auto for both my repair parts needs and to use them again for junking old cars. I can’t say enough about this incredible business and spectacular staff! Other yards cannot compare! A+ ! CALL THEM FIRST! The best! Thank you again!”

“I want out there 3 weeks ago and saw a car I wanted to buy, he told me that it would be ready in a week and I went out there that Thursday and he told me it would be ready by Tuesday or Wednesday I went out there Tuesday and then he told me Call Thursday and I just called and it's still not ready. So if you see a car that you want that's not ready to go be prepared to be patient since he has to wait on the detective for the inspection and paperwork. I went out there yesterday, he had a couple more for me to look at and work with me on the price so I go to pick up my vehicle today 😊”

This store always has the parts I need, and with the ability to order parts to the store the same day directly from a local warehouse it makes this location one of my favorite auto part stores ever. It's not just the convenience of having access to parts the same day for why I like this location but because of the great and very knowledgeable employees that work here. Without great employees like John and Acie this location would simply be just another auto parts store, employees like them truly make all the difference. I can take my questions here and be confident one of those two can answer my question or point me in the direction to solve my problem. “I just leased a Kia Sorento at LaFontaine Kia in Ypsilanti! I highly recommend this dealership and most importantly I highly recommend my salesperson, Kam. He walked me through the leasing process and made sure I understood everything, every step of the way. It was actually the first time I had a pleasant car leasing/buying experience ever! Kam arranged to have the car driven to my house and switched my plate right there. Everything was so easy, honestly. “The shop was very responsive and understanding of the situation once I got my insurance and claim number involved. I read a lot of good and bad reviews on here but a lot of factors can delay the process of fixing one’s car. We live in a time of ups and downs but if it wasn’t for heritage collision taking the reigns with my insurance and getting the quotes and estimates it would put the problem on me to find another repair shop. Yes they did a great job on the repair and communication was key. Mike did a great job but I only just got back the car. The timeline was over a week for me. I will comment on this post in a couple weeks if there is feedback on things that might have been missed. For now the car looks great in the pics below. Thank you again for all the help.”

“Yesterday while traveling home from the upper peninsula our car overheated. We called AAA and they connected us with Georges Body Shop. What could have been a bad day turned into such a positive experience! We were out in the middle of nowhere and the owner Lance personally drove out and brought us back to St. Ignas. He assured us that his mechanics would take care of us. Lance ordered a part to replace the water pump that burst and told us it that the part would come in the following morning. His staff was friendly and to my surprise the bathroom was clean unlike most automotive shops. Lance personally drove us to our hotel and the following morning his son picked us up from our hotel and our car was repaired and ready just as promised.”
