20970 West Rd, WoodhavenFirst time at Maverick's. The bar/restaurant is a good size establishment. Very open with good light. I noticed the venue was very clean looking. There is a side room for larger gatherings.
There is a bar with many choices. The guys I was with appreciate craft beers and Mavericks was perfect to accommodate their needs. They were all happy with the beer selection.
The menu has a good variance of cuisine. Something for even the picky eaters. I order the Korean pot stickers, a Korean chicken sandwich and a nice side salad. All came quickly to our table and hot. Pot stickers were delicious. Prepared expertly with chopped stick onions and a soy dip. They were golden brown with crisp texture to the dumpling. The salad was good and fresh with the blue cheese dressing on the side. The blue cheese was a little off as this was their own recipe. The spicy Korean chicken sandwich was very good. Not to spicy with a little heat. Coleslaw was underneath the chicken and delicious. The whole softball team i was with enjoyed the food, drinks and the relaxing atmosphere.
