237 Dalhousie Street, AmherstburgMy friend and I walked past this place on Tuesday and said to each other we will come back and check it out and boy are we glad we did. Right from the start the service was quick and so very friendly. We decided to split the lunch special, which was an amazing Blue Cheese Hamburger, it was served with their famous Salty Dog fries and man was everything delicious. I normally do not like coated fries but these ones sure changed my mind they were amazing. Our server Brian was so nice and kind he even had the kitchen cut the burger in half for us so we each had our own plate with burger and fries. Brian was very attentive and so knowledgeable about the menu. So if you are ever in Amherstburg I highly recommend making a stop at the Salty Dog ask for Brian and tell him Barb sent you.

Golden Gate Chinese Restaurant
473 Sandwich Street South, AmherstburgSo good. Harrow used to be my go to, but it has went down the drain badly. Ive been to golden gate before and forgot how good it was till I got some last night and it is probably the best I've had in awhile. I useally have my go to spots in Windsor like bamboo and Jades. Id say golden gate is better then them too.
