βI live in the neighborhood and have been going to this store for years. They always have what I need. The new owner is friendly and making efforts to bring new things into the store. Pizza, hot food section, and rotisserie chicken! I always buy more than I come for!β
βJust passed by there and was amazed by the variety of all they had to offer! The Baklava was the yummiest- best not too sweet and the freshest taste ever for $2.β
βI like this Aldi's more so than the one in Woodhaven because it has a better food selection. I live in the Brownstown/Flat Rock area, but I will drive to this location from now on.β
βThis place is a nice little gem in the area. Staff are kind and they hold a lot of variety. Some items you might find here are a little more expensive, but then other items are cheaper. Definitely a place I'd like to keep around.β

βUsually my go to spot to get a lot of my groceries they have a lot of great items you canβt get anywhere else. Sometimes the produce can be off depending on which day you go. Prices have went way up here as other places have too. Check out is usually quick depending on how busy and the staff is very helpful and nice.β

βIf you need a hard to almost impossible item or ingredient for your authentic Mexican dish, then you need to head to Algo Especial. This is a store that I have visited with my mom for those family recipes that needed that Especial ingredients and we could only find them here. Their tamales are the best in all southwest Detroit.β

βMan, this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. They give you such a big quantity for the price they give, AND its higher quality than majority of other mexican resturants. I live in metrodetroit, and those places would charge me 17 or 18 dollars with the amount of food they give me compared to them charging 10-13 dollars here. Highly recommend of the beef tongue burritoβ
βNeeded to make an exchange and service counter was a good experience to start. Returned with the item I wanted to exchange with original item. Explained to different employee I was having issues w card I made purchase w I'd like to put it on I gift card I had .36 cents remaining. She said that wasn't possible...went ahead a put the difference on the card for original transaction (I wasn't aware yet) I said well put on a different one? She said too late it's on the original card...???? Ummm thanks for asking first? But I was talking to her but actually she was busy talking to another employee & not paying attention to me lol...So there's that little bit of her not hearing me telling her I was having issues with the card I made the original purchase with. So now the difference she put back where I didn't want her too is in limbo until everything is fixed. But hey whatever right? Lol at least I got the exchange done & there's money there one of these days. No big deal.β

βAshe Ton at the front is amazing. Excellent customer service and bagging skills are 8/10. He told me he liked my toe ring and that made my day because my uncles lizard had just died after he ate some of my spaghetti. Will shop here again because of this nice young man.

βI come here often and I don't think anyone has cheaper prices on halal steaks and ground beef they are good people that run it and staff are good and fast if you haven't been here you should try it out you won't be disappointed.β

βVery kind staff. Friendly, respectful and helpful neighborhood store. They have surprisingly much more than you'd expect from a small neighbor store with a very good variety ad well. One of my favorites.β
βThe workers were friendly, bottle return was veryyyy busy but clean for the heavy traffic. I love the self-service for cash from bottles instead of waiting in line. I don't enjoy shopping in big stores and for long times, due to my legs hurting. In and done works great for me.β

βWalked into this Meijer the other day and was greeted by the nicest man ever! Donald Wells deserves a raise! He was so friendly and even under the mask you could tell he was smiling!
On a bad note, there only seems to be 2 maybe 3 cashiers open at one time! The most I have seen open at once was maybe around 10. What is the point of having 32 registers and only utilize 10 tops? Even with covid and all of the protocols in place, they should take out around 10 registers and add self checkouts where we can scan more than 20 items.β

βI usually will go here and Walmart Aldi has better prices on dairy(sliced cheese etc)also there Kirkland bagged chicken products are just as good if not better than the big name brands,overall good experience and great prices.β
