“I got married at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in July 2023 and booked large suites at the Country Inn & Suites for our getting ready space as well as for guest rooms. The rooms were so spacious and were perfect for having my bridal hair and makeup done as well as for some beautiful getting ready photos. Eric in the office was great to work with for coordinating our room block for our guests. The rooms are very comfortable, and it was great to have breakfast included in the morning!”

“Great location for our needs. Hotel was clean, quiet, beds and pillows were comfortable. Check in was super easy, elevators were fast, M Club had some snacks. The only minor complaint we had was the bathroom in our room had no ventilation fan or one that worked. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Big thanks to Nico at the desk and Sheryl who served breakfast for their warmth and service. Those two made our experience so nice it was worth taking the time to come and leave positive feedback.”

“We were excited for a switch up in our routine but the concierge wasn’t very thrilled about being there. Made me feel weird. Also, our room had janky air conditioning that kept waking me up, a clogged drain so we were stepping in our dirty water the whole time while showering, not enough full bath towels and a subpar breakfast.Keys were also super fidgety. Two good things about our stay: Lucky 13’s & comfy bed.Definitely will spend my money somewhere else in the future.Noteworthy details: Attention to detail was definitely lacking!”

“We stayed overnight to be closer for a very early medical appointment. The hotel was very easy to locate and parking was easy. Check in was quick and the staff member was very helpful and knowledgeable. The lobby is quite appealing in design and welcoming with ample seating. We appreciated the convenience of snacks and beverages available for purchase next to the lobby. Our room was large and very clean. We were disappointed to find the fan had been disabled on the heating and cooling unit. The room was a bit too warm and we wanted to use the fan for air circulation and white noise. Our only other complaint was that the bed was too firm. The bedding was nice and the pillows were very adaptable for any type of sleep position. We didn't realize until morning that there was a top sheet very tightly folded and wrapped across the bed so we used the duvet. The room had several handy amenities including a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave.”

“Hygiene. Just being able to see a room is clean is a whole lot of comfort to me. Staff being attentive to help when something goes wrong. Even being transparent about the process to sort a problem if something can’t be fixed immediately. Having a peaceful stay!”

“The place definitely has a monopoly on the location of downtown Wayzata. As for calling itself a boutique hotel, they still have some convincing to do for $300 a night. Service was impeccable, everyone was always willing to help and get you what you needed, and they did have some included amenities like a bike to borrow and a fitness room. The coffee shop in the lobby was anticlimactic. They did have a nespresso machine in each room which was great, but including some cream or a little pitcher of milk and a frother would have been great instead of getting an espresso shot to start the day.Rooms: the beds were comfortable, but our curtain was missing the stick to open and close, some of the outlet covers were installed upside down, and there was no fan in the bathrooms. The dual rainfall showerhead was fantastic though!”

“I had a wonderful stay at Comfort Inn & Suites in Shakopee. The only negative I would say is that the internet was not working properly so I used my hotspot. The stay was relatively quiet and the minifridge and the breakfast was a nice touch, will stay again. Thank you!”

“The double bed option is a killer. The beds are too small, you need to offer queen sized beds as most other hotels do.We didn’t get cookies at checkin due to a large group arriving at the same time but when we asked later on, were provided with a few extra as a thank you for our patience.Rooms: Rooms are small if traveling with more than 2 people. Double beds and a smaller bathroom make for cramped quarters.Nearby activities: Plenty of dining and shopping options available to meet your needs. Several walkable.Food & drinks: Breakfast buffet was ok. Eggs protein and potatoes. Wish more fruit options or yogurt were offered for our large group.”

“Nice place! Only stayed here for a night but we got late night pizza snacks, it was handy having a full size oven. The place was clean, and we had ample room for our stuffOur one big issue was not having a remote control for the tv. Luckily when I called (at midnight) they were super helpful and I was able to pick up a new one. Then in the morning there was a knock on the door from maintenance returning the missing remote…”

“Everyone knows the Manager is an incredible woman. But what they forget to mention is the location is equally perfect. Full Grocery store, and many restaurants and bars all within walking distance. In a safe little downtown. If you go outback there is a gorgeous pond and a little fire ring . Honestly a traveling workers dream.”

“Just there for a day conference as a PCA for my client, but there are many issues. First, the handicap accessibility is lacking on the public restrooms; doors are heavy and weighted to close, no handicap door openers. Plus, the restrooms are too small to easily maneuver a wheelchair around in and safely access the handicap stall. As my client had other friends staying at the hotel, we found out that handicap rooms are furthest from the conference rooms and closer to the pool area. This poses a problem for those without a motorized mobility device to get to the events they want because of distance. When I brought up my concerns to the management, I was informed that the hotel was built in 1983, so it wouldn't have to have those features. I found this to be a poor excuse for not upgrading to meet ADA requirements.”

“The hallway itself had large black spots and smelled like they were cooking ethnic rice down the hallway. When I walked into the room it had a funky smell the furniture was chipping the ceiling was falling apart with mold.”

“Positives---Location, comfy beds, freshly baked cookies in front lobby. Two pools on site, hot whirlpool. Friendly staff, Kelly Mc is excellent and clearly enjoys working with people.Concerns: Secondary outside doors not locked at night, no towels in pool area, no phone in room, customer service is by text. This would concern me if I were an elderly traveler who didn't have or know how to use a cell phone. No clock in the room or the pool area. Breakfast worker did not speak English, not his fault at all,. He needs an English speaking co-worker or mentor. Breakfast fruit featured apples only. No yogurt available.Bottom Line: The stay was good. There are many competitive options nearby that I will likely use in the future.Rooms: Room with king bed was spacious, and comfortable. Nice rain-type shower with nice bathroom products, hair dryer, ironing board and iron.Safety: Right off the freeway, easy to get to. Plenty of parking. No traffic noise, although there was significant noise from other guests.Walkability: You walk to your car, that is it. You need to drive or get an Uber to get anywhere.”
