“We had such a positive experience in the mattress department with Nick. It was a stark difference from our previous experience at slumberland furniture where we were told we weren’t allowed to loiter despite genuinely looking at mattresses. Nick guided us based on our budget and showed us all the features of the beds without trying to oversell us. He also did not make us feel uncomfortable for being a same-sex couple which we cannot say for slumberland.”

“We were referred to this shop by a family member who had been before and we were so impressed! We scheduled a 90 minute couples massage, and arrived a little early to look around first. Street parking was quick and easy. Our massage therapists were jace and henrietta, both wonderful, polite, and skilled. The few sentences of guided meditation during the massage helped us stay in the present and the snacks and tea served afterwards were a great addition to help us wake back up! We were so surprised with the oils that came with the package that we purchased and everyone was so kind. The cute pup made our day! Such a sweetie. Thanks again for the wonderful experience!”
“We usually go to the Nokomis branch but saw the main store last week when they had a special sale event. There's a huge selection of earth-friendly goods and staples there, all of what the smaller store has plus more. We chatted with the staff who were very friendly and offered advice about the beeswax wrap I bought to try out. I'd recommend either store to anyone concerned with the environment and sustainability. Yes, you'll pay a bit more but it's worth it to know you're doing your part for the planet.”
“My Teacher had recommended me to come here if I was looking for a place to take classes over the summer. Me and my family had booked a few weeks in advance so we would have a spot on the date we decide to throw on the wheel. The class we took was 2 hours long. We got to make as much bowls as we wanted in that two hour frame, but we can only choose up to only 3 pieces to take home. We all had a fun time! The instructor was really nice and helpful when it came to needing more help on the wheel. If you’re looking for a fun beginners activity on throwing on the wheel, I would recommend this place. Their store is also so cute.”
“Very cool 0 waste store. they have a surprisingly large assortment of things for how small the store is. Everything seemed very high quality (the prices match that) and lots of locally produced options. The freshly ground peanut butter is amazing, so definitely give that a try! They sell quality goods so I wouldn't call this place inexpensive, but not everything is expensive either.

“This place has everything and amazing help. I bought 3 yards of fabric a few weeks ago. After an hour of looking around I finally asked for help. They pointed me to the isle I would find that type of fabric and low and behold, I was able.to buy more to finish my project!

“Hidden gem! this place is a labyrinthine maze of cool treasures around every corner. As another review said, I also got lost through CDs in the basement. The music selection is vast and more curated than your average antique store (I am used to sorting through massive stacks of Christmas and church music to find anything that interests me). Employees were all kind and every time my hands were full of things I was going to buy, one would appear to offer to bring it to the front for me so I could continue to browse. Will absolutely be coming back, hopefully for years to come.”

Recently they reupholstered my living room furniture. Jim and Nicole were great. Nicole has a better eye for color than I. She helped me pick out the exact color I wanted. They were patient with my questions, ideas and requests. They advised me of the results of my requests. I followed their advice and am glad I did. “Walking in here felt like I was transported into an old world market in India or Egypt. Or maybe that was just me. This place has all kinds of unique furnishings for your home. And if you ever want a Tiffany style stain glass lamp, this is the place to go. They were EVERYWHERE. On almost every piece of furniture. And believe me, there was a lot of furniture. Not only did they have stained glass lamps, but stained glass decorative pieces that you could hang in your window. There were quite a few of those, too. The furniture is all rich, dark stained wood pieces. At first blush, they all looked very well made, but I didn't investigate them very thoroughly. I was just walking through. The back quarter of the warehouse-type store was all Persian-type rugs. All sizes and shapes and lots of them. If ever you were looking for a rug, this might be a good place to look for selection. The store is right off Hwy 280 next to the ApplianceSmart. Take the Como Ave exit to get to it. When I was there just last week, they had a 40% off sale everything in the store. From what I hear, this is a common occurrence. If you're looking for a Tiffany lamp, or an unusual piece of furniture, come here and browse a little. You should find something you like.”

Two floors inside Patina, but downstairs isn't accessible to wheelchairs unfortunately. Their Roseville store is fully accessible, but I love both locations as an able bodied person.”
“Another fantastic experience, 10 years after I purchased my first Sleep Number bed. I transitioned from the Sleep Number Performance P6 to the Sleep Number Limited Edition, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Customer service!
I needed a sympathy gift, and the cashier was pleasant and walked me over to a wall with cardinal sun catcher. The price was right, grabbed a small gift bag, and headed to the counter. I'm not sure I've ever shopped that fast...and without feeling stressed in store with so many different trinkets, items, gifts, etc, and having no clue what was available or what to get.
