“I stopped in to look for a shadow box. It was a little pricey but will meet my needs. I also found out that they carry a very poor stock of knitting patterns. I did purchase a book of patterns but I haven't picked out any yet. While the store was well organized, this book section was not. For the most part a good place to shop.”
“My brother referred me, after his recent successful visit. Jay was most kind & knowledgeable, giving me good advice on coins I inherited from my father. Instead of these silver coins sitting forever in a drawer, I now have some welcomed bills in my pocket. Highly recommend American Rare Coin and Collectibles!”
“A great game store!!! The staff is always super friendly, the have a great selection and are always supporting the local community. Our permanent stop when we are in the cities.”
“Please place has everything you are looking for. I personally wasn’t expecting it to be that great. Visited this place with plenty of money or a credit hard with a high balance. Staff is very friendly”

“Great Lakes Coins and Collectibles has restored my belief that there must be a gold buyer out there somewhere who actually treats the customer with respect and a welcoming environment, while offering extremely fair pricing for the gold jewelry brought in to their shop. I have seen my share of estate and gold buyers who shamelessly throw out ridiculous low-ball offers with the warning that you will never see a better offer.
So walking in to Great Lakes today was a breath of fresh air and a very pleasant surprise. These people are the real deal. They paid me a very fair price on the spot, no haggling, and I was happy to accept their offer. I will be back to do more business with them again soon.
Go see them. You will be so glad that you did!”
“Had a great experience today at Level Up Saint Paul! I'm in town for the holidays and wanted to meet up with a friend. We met and played games in the back room. They have a great selection of games available to play.
They have a big selection of games. I was looking for some titles and the staff were really helpful, both in telling me what they had but also telling me where I could get the ones they didn't have! Got a great deal on a game and looking forward to stopping in again the next time I'm in town.”
“A great little hobby store! The two gentlemen were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They were very busy trying to help multiple people at one time while I was there and continued to be both attentive and courteous to everyone. I am glad I found this store and I will be back. They also have some airplane stuff which I was delighted to find!”
“I have been an artist since childhood, so when I find a gem of an art materials store I am absolutely in heaven. Blicks, offers this and so much more. They have all types of materials- from all kinds of paints, chalk, paint markers, pastels, all types of tools for mediums and tons of different options for brands. Highly recommend this shop for your art material needs. They also have adorable cards, little funny gifts and so on. They even have a student discount (score!). Go check it out! Oh and the staff are all very friendly and happy to help!”
“I had two packs of scrapbook paper and two scrapbooks that I had for a while and I ended up not using them and Its been tight on money and I was not expecting them to be able to return. I did not have my receiptI was thinking maybe for a store credit would happen but they were absolutely wonderful and they gave me my money back. I am so thankful and appreciative. I want to say his name was Jason. You have no idea how much you’ve helped me. Thank you.”
“Absolute has an organized selection of singles on display along with a variety of boxes and packs for sale. The crew is very knowledgeable and are great to chat with. I highly recommend stopping by!”
“Great employees and great customer services!! I love pre ordering their product and they always give me a call the day it arrived! Will always stick to supporting small business store ! they save me gases from driving around to different locations <3 truly the best! 10/10!”
“Games by James is legit. These days, I find myself struggling to coordinate the people and time to play games like I used to. But in this store, I was inspired.
Time will tell if it comes to fruition, but seeing a collection that is passionate, complete, and inviting reminds me of how much fun it is to be into board games.
They've got staples: party games, dice games, card games, classics. But where they really shine are the local games and modern board games. They have something for everyone, from simple to learn ones to games that become all day events.
And that's the fun of games: someone has made a game for your exact taste. And the guys working in here know how to help you find it.”
“We have only been to this location once but had a great experience. They have a large space to sit down and play games. They carry cards, comics, games, and more. There comic section is large than other locations and they carry back issues! We were pleasantly surprised when we came in and they had tons of comic bundles and discounted issues. We were able to find a few new series to check out. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back to this location in the future!”
“Super friendly service with so many cards to choose from! Thank you Marshall for your wonderful customer service. Stop by - I'm sure you'll find something for the whole family! Easy to get to and lots of free parking. I highly recommend and I will absolutely be back again.”
“My favorite Michaels. Always has good clearance stuff, and the employees aren't annoying like other locations that think I'm shoplifting because I wore a hoodie or want to just browse without buying anything”
“Now in a new and much bigger store, this spot feels like a toy-and-game galaxy calling every wandering Padawan inside. Shelves stretch from floor to ceiling, loaded with puzzles, party games, strategy epics, fidgets, flying discs, and every curiosity you can imagine. A Jedi could lose an entire hyperspace cycle exploring all the colors, textures, and clever designs here.
A bright, inviting layout makes browsing easy, and the massive selection ensures there’s something for every age, every mood, and every mission. If your quest involves finding a unique gift, a new family game night favorite, or just a bit of playful whimsy, the Force is definitely strong in this expanded space.”
“On a number of occasions I have had the absolute delight of having Dakota as my guide. The man is an absolute pleasure to interact with, very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for customers. Owners of this establishment, please take note, this is the type of man I would love working for me. I encourage you to acknowledge this mans efforts, my suggestion, get him tickets to see starwars preformed live by the Minnesota Orchestra, they play the movie on a big screen behind the orchestra. Please, take care of this man, he deserves it.”
“Stopped in for a balloon bundle. Grateful that Michaels increased the balloon selection since Party City died. Not all the styles that Party City used to have, but I made do. Kudos to the staff having to do all the new things along with holiday turnover! Norah and Sarah managed a very busy store with several customers on line that required personal assistance, all the while trying to fill my huge balloon order as quickly as possibly. More stores need Customer Sales associates like Sarah and Norah! So great!”
“Store manager Kristen (?) was SO helpful with an emergency balloon rush!!
Did you know that Michael's took over Party City's helium balloon business when Party Citys closed?!?! Me neither!!!”
“I only went in for a few minutes and without buying anything. I'm sure I will be going back to buy craft and jewelry making items. They have good selections and decent deals. Thanks.”
“Whenever I’m picking up a game or buying some cards here, Jon is always providing a positive attitude and great service. He’s engaging and always great to talk to. Best GameStop I’ve been to.”
