“I had such a pleasant experience in the paint dept at the Apple Valley Menards. Had a very nice young lady, Kristine (or Kristina)? help me. She was very knowledgeable & helpful!! She advised me on the right paint choice, matched the paint to my bedspread, showed me what to prep the walls with to hide marks that I could never get rid of last time I painted. Also she didnt try to sell me stuff I didnt need or the more expensive choices. Very nice young lady with a very cute accent. Don't ever get rid of her cuz I have alot of paint projects coming up!

“Great location, well supplied, and ample parking. Staff is generally friendly and helpful, but the checkout process was a bit bumpy. The card machine, which apparently was a known issue from the employee that responded to help, kept rejecting my chip read, then finally accepteda swipe with the employee's assistance. The management or owner should address this, as it has seemingly been a problem for quite some time. Interestingly, it became a teaching tool for the employee who was training someone. My transaction also included a military discount, which showed the trainee that aspect, as well. Kudos to Home Depot for honoring those of us who have served, and would ask this location to add veteran parking signs outfront, as other locations have done. The cost is minimal, and the message and public display is a powerful statement of where the organization stands. Plus, many of our older service members would be grateful for the proximity to the door, as they do not sign up for handicap access, due to military grit and pride..”
“I learned more in five minutes here than in an hour at a big box retailer. I was greeted upon walking in the door and I was able to ask questions about the composite lumbers to find a product that will be perfect and cool for our south facing front porch (keeps cool in direct sunlight). I was handed a bag and told to take as many samples as I like and given a card for follow-up cost estimates. I will be back - very pleased.”
