“This store always has what I need, everyone already knows that. But it gets better-My toddler lost a shoe during our recent visit. We scoured the place before deciding to leave, retracing our steps multiple times to no Avail.I called the next day to check lost and found to learn it hadn’t been turned in. The lady I spoke with offered to take my info, and I assumed that’s the last I’d hear about it. I was bummed because it was her only pair that currently fit, but decided to just let it go.Fast forward to a few hours later: I received a call back that she went looking for & found the shoe (in a very on-brand place for a toddler to stash it ?) and returned my call to let me know it was located! I couldn’t believe it, what a great way to end the week!It may seem very simple, but it’s moments like this in life that remind us that there’s good people out there who are willing to extend themselves to help someone else.Thanks to a caring Menards employee, our toddler was spared being temporarily shoeless and a mothers week was made. I’d say that’s worth 5 stars.”

“My wife and I went to the Blooming MN Home Depot to buy blinds for two rooms.Nathan Montgomery helped us. And oh did he help us.He was a very friendly and knowledgeable person.He ran quotes for us on three separate products and helped us pick out one.He prepared us for our travels with our blinds.I would wholeheartedly recommend Nathan if you are looking for help.Thank you Nathan”

“I usually go to Menards, over Depot or Lowes. It is easier to find items. Don't feel overwhelmed with sky-high shelvings. Slightly lower prices and quality in comparison (depending on what you get), but good value for the average person. It's like a Walmart to a Target, gets the job done without pretending to be poshy”

“Love the prices and deals at this Menards, the store is clean and the majority of the employees are friendly knowledgeable and helpful. The store could do with better education regarding service dog access laws, I've had numerous issues when here with my legit service animal and them allowing pet dogs in when the corporate policy is service dogs only, and or just full on access issue, the store if your in a wheelchair and have a service dog or person next to you would be relatively easy to navigate but does have challenging area one of them being just to get into the store to shop, overall relative pleasant shopping experience, and am a returning Menards customer numerous times a month, including now shopping here for my cleaning staples and other odds and ends for the house at super affordable price for the quality of item.”

She remembers the conversation we had the last time she came two months prior and asks me I have any problems she should be concerned with my grass such as weeds in certain spots. My grass is the greenest and healthiest in the neighborhood due to the quality of work I get from Spring-Green!Service: Weed control”

“I'm gonna mispell their names do forgive guys but I have to share this. I haven't had this great an experience shopping at Home Depot ever. I have been a General Contractor and Business Owner most of my adult life. I've had good service and very poor service but Today I am gonna take the time to say the employees at Home Depot in Inver Grove heights MN are knowledgeable and there to serve the customers. Ramundo, Tootie and a young man in plumbing. Did everything I asked, knew what they where doing, didn't complain, no eye rolls, smiled, called me Sir and were so polite. Future Managers !!! “I learned more in five minutes here than in an hour at a big box retailer. I was greeted upon walking in the door and I was able to ask questions about the composite lumbers to find a product that will be perfect and cool for our south facing front porch (keeps cool in direct sunlight). I was handed a bag and told to take as many samples as I like and given a card for follow-up cost estimates. I will be back - very pleased.”

“I'm putting 4 stars since home Depot is my go and usually has everything I need with easy in and out and a helpful app. Employees are generally knowledgeable and helpful.I'm writing to caution about the lumber experience I had.-I purchased some ply wood off the shelf and had it cut in the back area, no problem there.I then went to pay and found that the price of the wood was 50 dollars more than what the price tag connected to the shelf said. Now granted I'm not a lumber expert, and there was no lumber employee in sight, so I used my best judgement and assumed the price was the tag that was attached to the shelf it was on. That assumption was unfortunately incorrect despite being the case that the label corresponding to the shelf is what you expect in almost any other retail situation.Granted I had already had the cut made, so I asked for someone in lumber who could help me understand, or perhaps there was a mistake. They came over and explained that the tag is for the lumber beneath, and then stated that this mistake happens very frequently and has resulted in lots of returns. They stated there was nothing they could do and that I would need to complete a return on the wood and then choose the one that I wanted knowing how pricing works and act accordingly. They did apologize as well but could tell they where defensive as they had heard this critique many times.Constructive feedback:1. The employee that explained this to me said that there is nothing they can do about the price tagging despite all the returns and confusion they admitted to. Maybe they are correct, so management/corporate, this is your queue to do something, since obviously there is something you can do about price placement.2. If by some weird anomaly you can't change pricing placement, maybe have employees present that can point this out. Or maybe have a price confirmation check when cutting or any other point where suitable.I bought the board because it was needed for my project. I just can't help but feel like this is something home Depot can do something about given the clearly frequent feedback. Seems like a personnel/training or price placement change that could prevent people from feeling bait and switched despite that we "should have known" or should have "known to ask".”

“I had the best service in a Home Depot or any similar type store thanks to the OUTSTANDING assistance, service, and help that I received about a week ago on a Thursday night. I felt like I got the VIP treatment, he helped take me to the location, drove the heavy flatbed for me, helped load it with HEAVY concrete blocks, quickly drove me back to checkout and told me if I pull my car up, he'll help me load it! I was shocked by his friendly, service with a smile, happy-to-help attitude. I hope he is soon a manager & trainer, because he single handedly created the best impression and experience I've had of Home Depot or any store in about 20 years. No, I'm not kidding.I pulled up, he helped me load the car quickly and with a smile. I had to shake his hand and ask his name. Mustafa he replied. Wow, he should be management and training others. Well done for hiring Mustafa. I will never forget this experience at Bloomington,MN Home Depot thanks to Mustafa. Well done! Way to leave an excellent impression. 5-Thanks Home Depot & thank you Mustafa!”

“I'm here probably once a week based on my business and professional needs. I had to return an item at the end of a project that didn't work out and fit into the overall scheme. This staff worked diligently to find my account(s) explained why this was difficult and recruited additional staff until six of them were actively working on care of me and my wife, getting our item returned and making sure we left satisfied. At this location we typically do leave very satisfied! It is amazing how all of this was done while keeping a jovial, fun and caring atmosphere directed toward us in what could have been a very frustrating situation to the staff. This kind of five-star treatment-not the first time I've experienced this here-is why we keep coming back. This is a nicer, relaxed and very efficient location.UPDATE: What's it like a week later?I called Dylan early yesterday to see if they still had an item I had seen the night before which I hadn't measured for. He not only found it; but sold me the last item- literally having crawled up to get it from the rafters before I had returned. I was delayed somewhat in my return because of traffic and other obligations so he made sure it was set aside and labeled for me to keep his commitment even though he was not going to be there when I arrived. The checkout process went very smoothly because of his interactions with it and made my transactions complete. He had also researched other stores that had better inventories and had secured for me where I might go to get the additional items I needed. All of this was done in a few minutes because of his conscientious care, and this is consistently becoming my experience when I am at Lowe's. Even considering these: this pleasantly exceeded my expectations in every way. Thank you!”
