“To start this is my first time in a Hardware Hank store. Moved to Minnesota in 2019, but never heard of Hardware Hank before in my travels during my time in the military. I am used to Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Menards. There is also a new store that just opened in Eagan called Acme Tools wonder if they are gunning after Harbor Freight?!? With that said.
It seems Hardware Hank has only two locations in Minnesota. One in Eagan and the other in Ham Lake. I was referred to Hardware Hank by an Ace Hardware employee that I know very well. My wife's wheelbarrow wheel had a air leak in the tire and Ace Hardware doesn't repair such tires so off to Hardware Hank I went. I did call to confirm that they could actually replace the tube in the tire. Cost estimate was about $20 to $50.
My first impression was of surprise as this store is pretty huge inside with product lines everywhere. I bought before leaving a window wiping device with extension pole. Will see what time tomorrow 05/29/2025 when they will call me to pick up the wheelbarrow tire. Will say employees were cordial and helpful. And they provide a military discount which this disabled veteran appreciates.
Update: Picked up my Wife's wheelbarrow wheel today 05/29/2025 and cost $20 to fix. Did receive a call at 11:45 am that it was ready to pick up. They did a good job at repairing it kudos for that. Would recommend.”
“We have had good luck and good service for 19 years at the Eagan location. Major purchases: complete bathroom remodel, major kitchen remodel, windows, floors, doors, major appliances; garden stuff for years. Love this store. Our granite laser measurement and install was so precise it was unbelievable; way better than expected. I'm glad the store is close to us!”
“I went in to see if they hit any broken bags of rock salt.Because my water suffered needs it.And it usually discount them.Fifty percent unfortunately they didn't have any”
“Super helpful people work here! I came in looking for a specific solution to the problem of my fridge hitting on my kitchen counter. I was offered several alternatives, even if Ace didn’t carry them. It was a painless process and I’m grateful!”
