“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Snap Fitness in Edina, is awesome!

The gym is clean, with great weightlifting equipment for strength training and a fantastic studio featuring mats, free weights, resistance bands, and mirrors.

The Wi-Fi is CRAZY GOOD!
Reliable for streaming music, workout apps, tracking sessions, or kids watching iPads while waiting, haha!

Free parking with mostly covered spots, cameras, exits to France Ave, 44th St, and Sunnyside St, plus a bike rack, make it super convenient.

Nick (the owner) is mostly around and he is a very nice guy.

Highly recommend!”

“This is a popular spot that is consistently busy after work hours. While the receptionists are always friendly and welcoming, I have noticed a few areas where there is room for improvement:

Facilities: The jacuzzi equipment appears a bit dated, and the tub itself is quite small.

Management & Amenities: I found that management is not very flexible regarding suggestions for improvement. For example, although there is a basketball court, they declined to install a volleyball net, even though the Hopkins location provides this option.
Currently, the boxing bags are located in the Zumba and Yoga room and are unavailable for use daily from approximately 5pm to 8 pm, the hours during which these classes are held. An alternative option is to place the bags in a common area- for example, in the area between the basketball court and the locker rooms.

Cleanliness: I have noticed dust inside the machines, suggesting that these areas are not being cleaned regularly.

Overall, my impression of the club is good, but I believe the team needs to address these concerns to truly reach a five-star standard.”

“I have ADHD and have never been able to stick to workouts—too many decisions, too much time to overthink, too easy to get overwhelmed. Enter ALTR. It’s nonstop, sweaty chaos in the best way possible. No counting sets, no thinking—just move, breathe, and sweat. Instructor Nat is the absolute best. So positive, so fun, and never judgey. She is a gem and I always look forward to her classes!

Only complaint: having to do burpees to Justin Bieber’s What Do You Mean. You drop every time he says it… and he says it A LOT. That song can go straight to hell.”

“Transformational Care at Life Time Southdale – Dr. Oscar Nevermann is Irreplaceable!

Three years ago, I was in severe, life-altering pain with no hope of relief. I had tried physical therapy at Tria, consulted medical doctors, and even worked with a chiropractor, all of which failed to provide lasting improvement. Enter Dr. Oscar Nevermann at LifeTime Southdale – he didn’t just treat me; he changed my life. After only one month of working with him, I was completely pain-free and have remained so for three years.

Oscar’s approach is unlike anything I’ve experienced. His evaluation was more comprehensive and insightful than anything I had received elsewhere. He quickly identified the root causes of my pain – weakness in my left serratus anterior, posterior chain, and glutes, among others – and implemented an individualized plan that addressed these areas. Oscar didn’t just focus on exercises; he also taught me life-changing lessons in posture and movement: "squeeze the glutes, flex the abs, stand tall, and avoid letting your ribs flare." These simple yet profound adjustments transformed the way I move daily.

When I first started, I was terrified of using weightlifting equipment, fearing injury. Oscar’s expertise and encouragement not only made me comfortable but confident. His knowledge is unparalleled, and his ability to adapt exercises based on flexibility, pain, or fatigue is remarkable. He also excels at hands-on techniques, from massage to improving flexibility through manipulation, making him a true master of his craft.

Oscar’s impact extends beyond physical improvements. Before working with him, I couldn’t take a plane ride or sleep in a hotel bed without excruciating pain. I struggled to be present with my family due to irritability and emotional exhaustion from chronic pain. Thanks to Oscar, I was not only able to coach my son’s robotics team but also judge my daughter’s debate events – things that would have been impossible before. During trips, I went from lagging behind my family to leading them, with more energy than I ever imagined.

Oscar’s personal training clients range from professional athletes (including professional sports players and their families) to medical professionals and individuals like me – a dentist, PhD, and biomedical engineer. Despite our knowledge as professionals, Oscar brings it to the next level. Everyone who works with Oscar shares the same sentiment: they don’t want to give him up. His knowledge, skill, positivity, and ability to connect with people make him an invaluable asset to LifeTime Southdale’s community.

LifeTime Southdale prides itself on being a premier, country-club-like fitness center with a focus on exceptional customer service and a luxurious atmosphere. Oscar embodies this mission perfectly. His presence not only enhances the experience for his clients but also elevates the brand’s reputation as a facility that attracts and retains top-tier talent. LifeTime Southdale is fortunate to have someone like Oscar, and his continued presence is a tremendous benefit to its members and the community.

Dr. Oscar Nevermann is more than a trainer or therapist – he’s a life-changer. I am forever grateful for his care and expertise. If you’re fortunate enough to work with him, consider yourself lucky.”

“My daughters have known and loved when Coach Jonny has been a guest coach at their annual figure skating camp, and have now joined a POTR training program with him. He is fun, motivating, builds a plan to help them achieve their goals, works them hard, and they are excited for their sessions with him! So far in their 2 months working with him, they have built strength, endurance, and an improvement with their on ice jump skills as well as strength of skating. Their skating coaches have also praised the results and benefits they see carrying over to the ice. Thanks Coach Jonny and Pros of the Rope for sharing your amazing self and programs with us!”
