I cannot say enough good things about Bob and his team at Bob’s Auto Service Center.

I arrived on Sunday 8/2, with a serious oil leak after an oil filter gasket issue caused oil to spray throughout the engine bay. The shop was closed, so I left Bob a voicemail explaining the situation and parked the car there overnight. He called me back first thing Monday morning, which immediately showed the level of urgency and care he brings to his customers.

The car had lost nearly all of its oil, and the engine compartment was an absolute mess. I was extremely concerned that the engine may have been damaged. I dropped it off around 1:00 p.m. Sunday, and by approximately 1:00 p.m. Monday, the problem had been diagnosed and repaired, the oil had been replaced, and the engine bay had been thoroughly cleaned. I could not believe they completed everything so quickly, especially on such short notice.

Bob and his team were knowledgeable, honest, calm, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Considering how bad the engine compartment looked when the car arrived, the final result was impressive. It looked dramatically better, and the car was running properly again.

Bob explained that the vehicle had lost about 4.5 quarts of oil out of its 5.1-quart capacity, so I was extremely fortunate to have stopped when I did. I am very thankful for their expertise and the care they took in checking everything over.

The total cost was very reasonable (Under $250), especially considering the urgency, the amount of cleanup involved, and the potential consequences if the issue had not been addressed immediately.

This is exactly what you hope for in an auto repair shop: skilled people, honest communication, fair pricing, fast service, and genuine concern for the customer. Bob and his team were amazing, and I would confidently recommend Bob’s Auto Service Center to anyone looking for trustworthy, honest, and experienced automotive service.

I have been going to Discount Tire for over 15 years, I first discovered them when I lived on the west coast and was happy to find they also had stores in Minnesota. In my experience Discount Tire has competitive prices, knowledgeable employees, and courteous staff.

My most recent to Discount Tire was no different, staff was polite, prices are good, and everyone was polite and knowledgeable. However, one employee stood out about the rest.....Caleb was really just a great manager (if he isn’t managing a store he should be). Caleb took ownership of consumer concerns, interacted with good listening skills, and seemed genuinely happy to be at work. His enthusiasm and hard were were top notch. He went from customer to customer with a smile.

“I had a great experience with this shop. They performed a thorough inspection and diagnostic to track down a coolant leak and some unusual noises I was experiencing with my vehicle. They found several issues, including damaged control arms, a bent wheel, worn suspension springs, and brakes that needed to be replaced.

I was definitely not the “ideal” customer today running late to my tire change appointment and then forgetting one of my old tires and having to come back after my appointment for them to be able to actually change both tires I bought.
