“I was in a crowd of six people that went to Hajime last night, 22 June. One couple had been urging me to visit this place for at least a year but it fell on deaf ears. Big mistake. This place is the crown jewel of restaurants in Elk River. The food was incredible, the servers attendant, and the drinks not watered down. We opted in for three types of appetizers to start out the meal and they alone could have been the meal. I'll admit I didn't try the standard sushi, but instead opted for the Pork Katsu with the Yum-Yum sauce. Perfection. Those that did try the sushi fare said it was perfection and the Nabeyaki Udon bowel big enough to feel two. Give this place a whirl, even despite the current construction that makes you jump through all the backstreet hoops to get to this place. I will definitely be going back for more at this restaurant.”
