421 3rd St, ExcelsiorGreat taproom with lots of space and a good vibe. There are tables for 4 people or more throughout the room. Dogs ate allowed and it's not too noisy. There's a band some nights, but the stage is in the back, so it's not too loud. We tried a flight which had some good ipas and dark beers. I settled on the Russian imperial ale which was outstanding. There are plenty of restaurants in Excelsior if you want to get something to eat afterwards.

2443 MN-7, ExcelsiorFood is absolutely delicious here. I can’t believe this place isn’t always packed. People need to know about it and they need to know now it’s very good. They’ve got a massive menu of pretty much anything you could ever want and the food is all very good. I ordered takeout and it was ready exactly when it said it would be and the food was piping hot whole way home and just as delicious at my house as I’m sure it would’ve been in the restaurant. Highly recommend the hot and sour soup and the Szechuan chicken as well.
