421 3rd St, ExcelsiorGreat taproom with lots of space and a good vibe. There are tables for 4 people or more throughout the room. Dogs ate allowed and it's not too noisy. There's a band some nights, but the stage is in the back, so it's not too loud. We tried a flight which had some good ipas and dark beers. I settled on the Russian imperial ale which was outstanding. There are plenty of restaurants in Excelsior if you want to get something to eat afterwards.

2443 MN-7, ExcelsiorVery high quality food. There were some kids doing homework in the corner of the restaurant so that already guarantees 4 stars. The food came out in 7mins.. very hot! The fried rice was the best part, it has a little char flavor which accentuates the flavors. 10/10 would come here again this week.

One key thing not to miss are the side dishes the carrots with dates where incredible with just the right blend of spices to make such a simple side dish unforgettable.
For those that are worried about the horseradish spread, don’t worry the kick is very “Minnesota” light you won’t even know it’s horseradish.
