130 Oak Street, ExcelsiorI seriously can’t say enough good things about everyone here! The front desk staff and vet techs are always incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. One of my dogs, Moose, LOVES coming to the vet—he genuinely gets just as excited walking in here as he does going to the dog park lol. I think that says a lot about how well he’s been treated and how comfortable he feels with everyone.
My other dog, Rudo, was much more anxious about the vet when he was younger, and the staff were amazing about helping us work through it. We brought him in for “happy visits” where there was no scary appointment—they just greeted him, loved on him, gave him treats, and helped desensitize him to things like getting on the scale. They’ve always been so patient with him and genuinely seem to care about making the vet a positive experience rather than just getting through the appointment.
Everyone is also super helpful whenever I have questions or need something for the boys. It’s such a good feeling having a vet clinic where my dogs are genuinely happy and comfortable walking through the door. I’m so grateful for everyone here and would absolutely recommend them!

421 3rd St, ExcelsiorGreat taproom with lots of space and a good vibe. There are tables for 4 people or more throughout the room. Dogs ate allowed and it's not too noisy. There's a band some nights, but the stage is in the back, so it's not too loud. We tried a flight which had some good ipas and dark beers. I settled on the Russian imperial ale which was outstanding. There are plenty of restaurants in Excelsior if you want to get something to eat afterwards.

Nothing is bad here and it’s worth the excursion to sit outside and enjoy a treat when the weather allows.

227 Water Street, ExcelsiorYou know how when you go to a restaurant and you say the food is good but then after a few bites it loses its magic? That’s not this place. At the Coalition- the tasty goodness stays with every bite and the drinks are phenomenal- the best around! Every bite is like your first and the service/staff is professional, polite, respectful, and courteous. Carlos was our server and he was awesome! Very knowledgeable and intuitive- made our experience unforgettable!
