“Dear Mostafa,Thinking of you and your family and friends after the terrible earthquake in Morocco- please know all your customers care for you and your family.Dar Medina is my favorite shopping experience- the beauty of the textiles, purses and housewares overwhelms the senses. If that is not enough, Mostafa greets you as a friend with sincere hospitality- offers Moroccan tea for all who linger and you should. Over the years, I have purchased ornate stamped red purse and wallet purse, vibrant cotton throw, leather sandals with carpet inlay, colorful geometric rug and I generally am not a shopper! All of my purchases I enjoy everyday- even wear sandals in the house in winter. Mostafa has such incredible connections to friends and family who make these beautiful handmade pieces with love and soul in Morocco. Please help the Moroccan artisans who may have been affected by the earthquake and consider stopping by and shopping at Dar Medina. Oh and I live in my cotton (not itchy) hat six months- covers and keeps my ears warm skiing- so cute!covers my ears keeps me warm skiing.”
“I always love stopping at A Bag Lady in NE Minneapolis. The shop is small but packed full of beautiful purses, clothes, hats, jewelry & shoes. They have some really out there items that are fun & unique along with more trendy everyday wear items. The owner also color coordinates each section of the store which is awesome if you are looking for specific colors. Perfect place to shop for yourself, for a gift, jewelry for your big special day or if you are looking for something to wear for a special occasion. Everything is priced very reasonable.”

“I LOVE this place. I live in Missouri and have wanted to visit for a long time and finally got the opportunity a few months ago when I was in Minneapolis. It was absolutely amazing- so inclusive, wonderful staff, good organization, large size range, good prices, fans in the fitting rooms. I bought two pairs of pants off the rack that fit me, which is sometimes hard to find, and also two shirts that have become a part of my regular rotation. I really hope someday there's something similar where I live because I really had the best experience here. No notes.”

“Dylan came to our house to service our ridgeway that’s been having problems keeping time. He did a very thorough job, pulling the whole clock mechanism out, cleaning it, fixing a grinding sound we had, then reassembling everything. During the whole service he was pleasant to talk to and was very open about his thoughts on the condition of our clock.For reference another company who was previously servicing our clock never took the clock mechanism out and told us it was on its last legs and would require about $2000 for a whole new clock mechanism.”

“I had perhaps the BEST shopping experience in my life this past Sunday when I stopped in at the Rosedale location of Evereve. Both of the staff (thanks Lauren and Merice) could not have been nicer and they helped me find two outfits to wear to my son's upcoming wedding. I couldn't choose so bought both and will decide at home! They were fun, helpful, supportive and never patronizing or pushy. The store was well stocked and organized and SPOTLESS. “I live in a part of the country where there aren't very many stores that sell quality, high end clothing so when I need to look my best, I turn to some of my favorite online shops. Kat at Scarborough Fair provided me with one of the best shopping experiences I had since I bought my wedding dress. I am so impressed!I was captivated by a very unusual blouse by Filippo Grandulli ("crushed white blouse"). It has an asymmetrical hem, and a dramatic collar that buttons at an angle. I had questions on how it would fit so I sent an email to the shop, and Kat responded ASAP, first with an email, then a text, and then actually called me because I had more questions. Not only was I on the line with Kat (who was not physically in the store at the time), but also her assistant who was actively measuring the blouse to provide me with the info I needed. LOL, is that amazing or WHAT?!? Kat also gave very good advice on how to style the blouse and after the blouse was delivered, she followed up via email to make sure I was pleased! I am speechless about the service. Speechless. I didn't feel like I was buying FROM them, I really felt like I was shopping WITH them.That blouse, plus a Magnolia Pearl number that I ordered at the same time, were delivered promptly. They were carefully wrapped in beautiful tissue with a little fabric flower as a finishing touch. I felt like it was my birthday when I opened the box.I am so happy with Scarborough Fair, and encourage anyone who might be on the fence about ordering from them to take the plunge. It was a great experience!”
