I set up a meeting with Bob to come up with a plan to install a cable railing system on a flat roof, that is above a tuck under garage bump out patio. I am a contractor myself and was looking for the best way to install the railing and I was a bit stumped on the best way to go about the install. Bob came up with a brilliant idea of how to do the install properly. I couldn’t have been more happy with the way it came out. They also let me use one of their post templates and cable crimpers at no charge.The entire staff including Lisha was terrific to work with. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to work with them again.”

“My experience with the repair department inside ACE was great. I had a chainsaw ECHO 590 that would not start. Luckily, I had Tom as the technician who looked at it and figured out what was going on. Tom is very knowledgeable with small engines, and I would never hesitate to use his expertise in the future. Also (unlike what happened to other customers) ACE called me when the repair was done. In fact, Tom called me even before the final call, once he figured out the problem so I can give him the OK to order the part and do the repair.”

“I had such a pleasant experience in the paint dept at the Apple Valley Menards. Had a very nice young lady, Kristine (or Kristina)? help me. She was very knowledgeable & helpful!! She advised me on the right paint choice, matched the paint to my bedspread, showed me what to prep the walls with to hide marks that I could never get rid of last time I painted. Also she didnt try to sell me stuff I didnt need or the more expensive choices. Very nice young lady with a very cute accent. Don't ever get rid of her cuz I have alot of paint projects coming up!

“Called for a part to repair a high-end, Kohler bathroom faucet. Ferguson had it in stock and at reasonable price. Very glad to find things in a store rather than having to order via the internet (and wait) for things to arrive. Pleasant conversation with both the person I called and at the store.”

“I learned more in five minutes here than in an hour at a big box retailer. I was greeted upon walking in the door and I was able to ask questions about the composite lumbers to find a product that will be perfect and cool for our south facing front porch (keeps cool in direct sunlight). I was handed a bag and told to take as many samples as I like and given a card for follow-up cost estimates. I will be back - very pleased.”
