“A little something for everyone that brings back childhood memories, from clothes and nicknacks to toys and games. With antiques and vintage to holidays and Disney, over 60 vendors each uniquely showcased, in an indoor market experience.”
“Beautiful selection! I always look for places for bones and bug-related taxidermy, and they had plenty of it plus other very neat “trinkets” (and much more. I’m really down-selling it saying that, tbh). I was also surprised that the pricing was not as bad as I thought it was going to be (sorry, Mpls. I do expect unnecessarily overpriced things there), and my kids and I ended up getting a few things. Also, and very important anywhere you go, the staff there was so kind and helpful! We will definitely be going back — a lot. It was amazing!”
“I have purchased a number of things from this store and have always been completely satisfied. Recently, I had been looking for a vintage dining room table that would be large enough to fit a large number of people. I found a table at MAD that was PERFECT. The owner arranged a time for me to meet with him to look at the table and also arranged for another time for me to pick it up. He was outstanding and very flexible with me given this crazy time of the year. Very grateful for all of it.”

“Most professional and reliable tailoring in Minneapolis. I've been using sewbiz for a decade and have always received the best tailoring for suits and casual clothing.”
“Great vintage store. I go for their vintage toys, but they have clothes, records, books, and lots more. I always find something to take home with me. The owners are welcoming and nice.”
“Pretty cool place. Some creepy old dolls in vintage woven baskets and some creaky basement. Overall wonderful place to go to with lots of stuff. Owners were cool and had having fun with their buddies so it was good ?”
“I was a little hesitant to check out Classy Consignments due to some of the negative reviews. However, my wedding party and I had a great experience! We were the only ones in the store while I tried on wedding dresses. There were hundreds of dresses to choose from. We found my wedding dress, a veil and a mother of the bride dress all in about an hour and a half. My dress still had the tags on it and my savings was over $400. There was also a 10% off discount for the week on all our items. I would recommend checking this place out if you need a dress for any occasion!”
“Hidden gem! this place is a labyrinthine maze of cool treasures around every corner. As another review said, I also got lost through CDs in the basement. The music selection is vast and more curated than your average antique store (I am used to sorting through massive stacks of Christmas and church music to find anything that interests me). Employees were all kind and every time my hands were full of things I was going to buy, one would appear to offer to bring it to the front for me so I could continue to browse. Will absolutely be coming back, hopefully for years to come.”
“I really wanted to like it more, but the lack of sorting by size is ridiculous. I'm an XL and very few of their items fit and it's too much work finding anything.”
“There are too many fantastic items in the jewelry case. It's a great place for unique gifts and the closest thing to shopping from a Time Machine that I've found. The owner was very patient with me and showed me every sparkly thing that caught my eye.
She mentioned that she is searching for an awning out front... she was nice... so if anybody has a spare rounded white business awning that resembles a clam... let her know.”
“A thrift store with a decent sized mens collection?! No way! Plenty of mens jackets, shirts, and sweaters! I actually managed to find a long wool overcoat there (in my size!) what wasn't 50% polyester for sub $100. The outercoat itself was wool with a nylon lining. Plenty of old grandpa sweaters, which always rock, and flannels.
This store 100% has my future business.”
“Cool selection of items, I like to get jewelry and jackets here usually or just wander around and look at stuff. Usually a bit out of my price range when it comes to clothes. A lot of non-vintage items (especially accessories) but not a big turn off for me.”
“H & B is a nice curated collection of antiques. The items are well priced and range from couple of dollars to thousands. It is one of the best resale shops in the Twin Cities.”
“Always caring staff, the Church staff from St.Olaf downtown and the Badilica of St.Mary also downtown inform about their services too, besides these churches own community outreach.”
“Love this spot! I usually purchase things off of their Instagram for pick up. The staff are so kind and are always cheerful when I stop in. The selection is definitely well thought-out and well-priced. You're able to get great clothes at fabulous prices.”
“Talk about a hole in the wall, a hidden gem, or a diamond in the rough! I love thrifting and checking out all the places to do so when visiting a new town. If I were to come back to the twin cities, I would be sure to stop into the Cat and the Cobra! Locating the store was a little harder than anticipated. It is in the back of the parking lot behind the locked door, but it is the first door inside the building. Not to mention the cool vibes and architecture of the building. I highly recommend walking around and checking it out. There was an amazing selection of any article of clothing you were looking for. I would say the majority of the items were typically priced. Some articles hanging were a little overpriced, but the best part was the bins in the back of the store! I found two shirts in the bins that were $5 each! It was a STEAL of a deal for vintage t-shirts in the condition they were in. I got one ESPN shirt and a Strigus 2006 shirt. Not to mention how fun it is to shift through bins to find those hidden gems of shirts. In addition to a more expensive rainforest cafe t-shirt that was hanging on the walls of shirts. Overall, the service, selection, and value of the store and its articles were top-tier for vintage thrift! I highly recommend stopping in!”
“I've been shopping here for years now and it's one of my favourite spots in the Twin Cities. First of all, the owners are just really kind and welcoming people. Secondly, it's one of those shops where I never come away empty handed. Lots of well selected cool vintage items, a nice selection of clothes and there's always some great records in stock. It's well organised and even the music playing is usually great. Just a really cool place to check out.”
“My son and I visited here for the first time. He/him is very petite but did find something he liked. I found a perfect hat. There is soooo much in this store! 2 concerns, women sizes only go to large. And it it so tight it is completely disabled impossible!! So only 4 stars. However, we'll be going back! Cool place.”
“New and gently used at garge sale prices Arc's Value Village Thirft store has something for everyone and for all occasions. A fun shopping experience and knowing every purchase benefits the community.”
“This place had a fantastic selection of vintage clothing. The prices reflected the fact that this store was much more curated so be prepared to shell out a bit more. I got a nice University of Minnesota sweatshirt and some jeans here. Will come back next time I'm in Minneapolis”
“I’ve been going to Lula’s for a long time. Her reputation in the city is unmatched. And not just for fab party dresses but she might put out a rack out of high-waisted wide-leg 70’s pants that you can't find anywhere else or a pair of 60's virgin wranglers to go with that cashmere coat or summer crop top. It always feels fresh and new when you walk in the store and you'll feel the same when you walk out.But the best part is Hayley. How could you not like someone named after Hayley Mills. Not only does she treat every garment with care and love, she treats all her customers the same.”
“Great selection! Some of the reviewers here clearly don’t know the effort that goes into not just being a shop, but also PRIMARILY a safe space for many women to gather. Me being a customer comes secondarily to me financially supporting this space.”
“Great place with great and friendly people. I brought my nanny boy in bc he wanted to try a trade-up challenge and Edder was very helpful, kind, and didn't talk down to him bc he was a 10 year old. He left there on cloud 9 and talked about how he can't wait to go back there.”
“Good store for cheaper kids clothes/toys. Their staff is good to work with as well, highly recommend this location. Props to the manager for keeping good team members”
“I stumbled across this store searching for a place for clothes in mounds view area. I seen the awesome low discounted prices on items a d I feel in love ❤️!! Been there twice in less than a month... Lbss”
“Dangerous and delightful! :) I absolutely love GH2 for a variety of reasons!! First of all the hunt and thrill of surprise. Because it is a slightly used second hand store you never know what your going to find, which designer, what year, what style. Its a thrill finding both new and modern, and classic and vintage. I'll get lost for hours in this shop, even though its organized, clean, friendly, and not overwhelming. I love the fact (and maybe it just helps me feel better about shopping) that I'm repurposing, re-wearing quality clothing and not having it go to waste. Prices range from high high end to affordable. But the best thing is its uniqueness. I am one who wants to get something one of a kind, different, show stopping, that only I will be wearing, and this is where I go. Because of its non conventional inventory, you get unique pieces not otherwise found in Minneapolis which allows you to stand out in the best way having those pieces no one else will. Everything I purchase from GH2 I get constant compliments on, feel regal in designer thats affordable to me, and know I will be the only one in it that evening. Styles range from classic to funky, from vintage to futuristic, from Americana to Parisian, young to wise, casual basics to ball gowns. They have shoes, accessories, scarves, winter ware, bags. You just never know what will be on those racks ready for you to discover. If you're seeking something special don't be afraid to ask. Thats how they showed me my favorite satin ball gown skirt. They also BUY! I haven't myself sold anything to them but know that they do take in and purchase designer clothing off hand. So thats that, if you're looking for unique, one-of-kind, affordable designer, pieces to add to your wardrobe, go on the hunt here at GH2. Good luck, you're going look stunning :)”
“Outstanding selection and great prices. Clothing is beautifully organized according to type of clothing, size, and color. Sell the clothing that’s just clogging up your closet and use the money to buy fresh new beautiful clothes here.
I am very clothes conscious from have watched all 10 seasons of WHAT NOT TO WEAR. ? On many days, everything I’m wearing came from this exact store with the exception of my underwear. ?
Highly recommended. Just don’t buy the cute jackets before I get there.”
“Lots of interesting mid-century modern stuff here. Was here looking for a coffee table but they didn't have the style I wanted, I'll have to stop back as the owner apparently gets new stuff in all the time. There was lots of other cool stuff here that I didn't need!”
“The one thing I like about the Goodwill especially this Goodwill is it's got a nice big movie collection of new and used mostly used movies but it's got a very very big selection of titles cuz I'm a big fan of physical media”
“I really enjoy shopping at the Salvation Army Thrift Store! They have some great vintage finds if you take the time to look. I also love their weekly discounts—children's clothing is half off on Tuesdays, and students get 25% off on Thursdays. Plus, they have a good selection of household items at reasonable prices. Always worth a visit if you're hunting for unique treasures or shopping on a budget.”
