There’s outstanding assistance with product questions and swatches but without any pressure to make a purchase. The Buy Now / Decide Later option is wonderful as well, since it allows the customer to capture a refundable sales price but finalize fabric selections up to 30 days out, even for online orders. Alex Kovelan knew my name when I first enter the mattress section. He said “Drew what brought you in today” Or something like that. I said I need a good bed because my back’s hurting.
He said he knows how to handle back pain really well, so he recommended a great mattress from Nectar.
We were in the bed together and even for those short minutes, it felt like a lifetime of pure bliss.
Me and my partner ended up purchasing the mattress and without his help, we would not have discovered the need of another body in our bed for perspective.
10/10 service plus one for being a charismatic and overall a welcoming person.”

“I heard of this place many years ago, but last year I moved in the area and finally got to experience the store. I mainly come here for the massages - what for my attention at first was the BOGO massage offer. They still offer this deal, but it is limited to new clients only, The store itself has a lot of pottery and home decor from around the world. Most times I go in there for a massage, I end up purchasing either their essential oils, body sprays, or room spray.
Scott has a talent of combining scents well and the best part is they're not overpowering.
I primarily have seen Scott for massages. You can tell he's very experienced and knows what he's doing. He takes direction well and gives the amount of pressure you're looking for. Joshua is very helpful at the checkout and always answers questions I have about the products. Scott has a certain lotion there that helps with sore muscles or arthritis. I forget the name of it, but he let me try it and it really did work. It's a little on the expensive side, but it works marvelously and I plan to get that in the future.”

“Quality of the flooring we received was great. The frustrating part was waiting for the product for 3 weeks to arrive but when it finally got here, we realized the sales person who helped us did the math wrong and did not order enough flooring so now we have to wait another 3 weeks just for one extra box of flooring.
Update: A manager contacted us to help expedite the process and also gave us a refund for the last box we ordered. Also to add that every box of flooring we received was in immaculate shape. We’ve looked at other big box stores and there were so many damaged ones per box that it would be time consuming to overbuy and then return the bad ones later. Coming here I’d recommend to make sure you ask the associate for how much square foot comes in a box and double check the math yourself just because it takes a few weeks for the flooring to arrive.”

“We usually go to the Nokomis branch but saw the main store last week when they had a special sale event. There's a huge selection of earth-friendly goods and staples there, all of what the smaller store has plus more. We chatted with the staff who were very friendly and offered advice about the beeswax wrap I bought to try out. I'd recommend either store to anyone concerned with the environment and sustainability. Yes, you'll pay a bit more but it's worth it to know you're doing your part for the planet.”

“I had this store on my mind to visit for a long time and finally made it in for the first time today. It was busy and a little overwhelming with options. Luckily, I was able to pick out an option that my family was happy with. We have never been to a store like this and didn’t have much confidence in how things worked. The staff lady knew all the answers but was to the point and because our fabric wasn’t 5 yards, didn’t want to support above and beyond because we had no idea what we needed to measure. I have two young kids and had a time limit and was struggling to the point where my wife said let’s leave because we were struggling to measure and cut. Sounds like simple math, yes, but what would have taken a staff member a few minutes was taking us too long for us with our low confidence. To the point where my wife put the fabric away and walked out the door.
Luckily, I ran into Scott and expressed our experience and asked for support. He showed empathy, willingness to educate me on how things worked and aligned it with my home project needs. He even cut the fabric after confirming our needs. Thanks Scott for turning our experience around and into a 5 star.”

“I recently had a couch delivered, and the entire experience went incredibly smoothly. The International Design Center warehouse team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
I also had a table from another furniture store with a trim piece that had chipped off. Kevin assured me he could fix it, but I was skeptical because it looked pretty bad. He ended up spending an extra 30 minutes on it - and they didn’t even charge me. The repair is flawless; you can’t even tell anything was ever broken. No one has noticed a thing since.
