Furniture is overuns or has minor cosmetic flaws but still solid for most applications. If you like the style & quality of room and board but not the prices check this place out.”

Angela has helped me on multiple occasions, over the last two years, bringing personalized customer service to each phase of my redecorating. There’s outstanding assistance with product questions and swatches but without any pressure to make a purchase. The Buy Now / Decide Later option is wonderful as well, since it allows the customer to capture a refundable sales price but finalize fabric selections up to 30 days out, even for online orders. “Rico was absolutely amazing. I came in one night and he was helpful and understanding when I was torn between two couches. But he also gave me space while I walked around. Checked in occasionally but I never felt pressured into anything or obligate to buy right away. Told me I can take the night to consider my options. Will make sure I still get the sale price when I come back. He was kind, he explained things well. He helped me understand the financial options available and how the protection plan works (must make a report for EVERY incident) but also refund the cost of the plan if I don’t use it during the 5 years. Definitely recommend Rico when shopping for furniture.”

“I heard of this place many years ago, but last year I moved in the area and finally got to experience the store. I mainly come here for the massages - what for my attention at first was the BOGO massage offer. They still offer this deal, but it is limited to new clients only, The store itself has a lot of pottery and home decor from around the world. Most times I go in there for a massage, I end up purchasing either their essential oils, body sprays, or room spray.
Scott has a talent of combining scents well and the best part is they're not overpowering.
I primarily have seen Scott for massages. You can tell he's very experienced and knows what he's doing. He takes direction well and gives the amount of pressure you're looking for. Joshua is very helpful at the checkout and always answers questions I have about the products. Scott has a certain lotion there that helps with sore muscles or arthritis. I forget the name of it, but he let me try it and it really did work. It's a little on the expensive side, but it works marvelously and I plan to get that in the future.”
“I first walked into the IDC during the height of the pandemic and said I needed to furnish a newly purchased townhome, that I knew what I wanted but that I intensely dislike shopping. During the following months Dawn and Denise could not have been more helpful. They not only heard what I was saying, they listened. My time was never wasted and I was never pressured but was shown items in keeping with what I had said I needed and wanted. I do not live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area so considerable communication took place by phone and email with Dawn always keeping Denise current as related to items under consideration and decisions made while Denise did the same with Dawn. Not once was there even the slightest miscommunication. When we learned due to the pandemic the factory in Finland had stopped making dining tables and chairs Denise contacted someone at the factory to ask if they could please make the one table and 4 chairs I wanted from stock on hand AND THEY DID!!! I was grateful beyond words to think she had done this and that those at the factory had agreed. Three times Kevin and Rick delivered items to my home and each time I was impressed by their work habits. Kevin is extremely skilled/talented and a strong leader and I appreciated how he appropriately mentored Rick relating to why things were being done as they were. Every piece was placed exactly where I wanted and I know had I not been happy they'd have moved them. Whether ordered from Finland or Norway or bought off the floor, I could not be more pleased with the quality of the many pieces from the IDC and as important, could not be happier with the experience I had working with Dawn, Denise, Kevin and Rick. They were exceptional.”

“We usually go to the Nokomis branch but saw the main store last week when they had a special sale event. There's a huge selection of earth-friendly goods and staples there, all of what the smaller store has plus more. We chatted with the staff who were very friendly and offered advice about the beeswax wrap I bought to try out. I'd recommend either store to anyone concerned with the environment and sustainability. Yes, you'll pay a bit more but it's worth it to know you're doing your part for the planet.”

“Love this store. I get my body lotion and general-purpose cleaning solution here, along with sundry other things for the kitchen and bath. I love browsing each time I stop to see what's new and useful, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they provide recycling options through TerraCycle for items that would otherwise go in my trash. “Honestly, I had been investigating a certain kind of couch I wanted. One with a chaise lounge and storage. When I saw this store I went in on the fly. I wasn’t expecting to purchase or find anything in addition to what I already had seen. Well, turned out, they have a huge selection of this type of couch, in many different options and colors. I bought it on site. That and two end tables and a coffee table. I would have bought floor lamps but didn’t see much variety. The sales person was so great and patient with me. I wish I remembered his name…. Anyway, my stuff is being delivered in a few days and I got exactly what I was looking for and even more options. And I want to add that my new bank card I had wouldn’t allow the purchase for limit reasons. The sales person was so patient while I called the bank etc. I ended up using their zero percent financing instead just to make it happen. Awesome experience. Great store!”

“This place has everything and amazing help. I bought 3 yards of fabric a few weeks ago. After an hour of looking around I finally asked for help. They pointed me to the isle I would find that type of fabric and low and behold, I was able.to buy more to finish my project!
