The report was texted to me including photos and very detailed information on what needs immediate repair and what can be done later. A paid Lyft ride would have been paid by Turbo Tim as well. “Took my Odyssey to Hawkins for a timing belt and water pump service, with a few other small items. Nick was extremely professional and courteous, did a quick diagnostic on the car, and found an issue with a front ball joint and leaking axle. He provided an honest assessment of how critical each item was, and then proceeded to provide budgetary estimates for everything. After approving the items that were of most importance, Hawkins completed the work quickly (same day) and at a very reasonable cost. Overall I'm very happy to have found Hawkins and will they will now be my go-to mechanic.”

“After my visit to Discount Tire on Lyndale Ave in Bloomington today I wanted to take a few minutes to write an honest review.
I have been going to Discount Tire for over 15 years, I first discovered them when I lived on the west coast and was happy to find they also had stores in Minnesota. In my experience Discount Tire has competitive prices, knowledgeable employees, and courteous staff.
My most recent to Discount Tire was no different, staff was polite, prices are good, and everyone was polite and knowledgeable. However, one employee stood out about the rest.....Caleb was really just a great manager (if he isn’t managing a store he should be). Caleb took ownership of consumer concerns, interacted with good listening skills, and seemed genuinely happy to be at work. His enthusiasm and hard were were top notch. He went from customer to customer with a smile.
This location is great and Caleb is top notch. I HIGHLY recommend the Bloomington Discount Tire on 84th and Lyndale and would give six stars if I could.”

Besides the oil/filter change, they looked at the mechanics of the car, and the only thing they recommended was new rear tires before winter.
