“I’ve been coming to this store since I was a little kid, and I honestly felt sick to my stomach reading the review left by Ahmed and his friend Mohamed. It is a complete and total lie.

I actually happened to be in the store that exact same day. The reality is that Ahmed threw a tantrum because he didn't want to wait his turn in the queue like everyone else. He had absolutely zero patience.

To claim the owners are racist or profiling Somali customers is completely absurd. My family and the rest of our community are Somali, and this shop has been a blessing to us for years. When I was growing up, the owners would literally let me take groceries home to my mom without paying upfront, trusting her to pay them back whenever she got the money.

They are some of the most genuinely kind, big-hearted people you will ever meet.Please disregard the bitter, made-up stories from that other review or whatever he’s trying to cook up for TikTok clout. These owners treat everyone with respect, and they deserve our community's full support. 5 stars all the way.”

“Fantastic selection of fish and meats including colita (ox tail which is what I was looking for), lingua, corazon, staffed by friendly and knowledgeable people. I was able to practice my Spanish with everyone. The Loma Bonita tortillas come in two sizes and were phenomenal. With only two ingredients they're as pure as you can get. Quesabirria tonight was fuego! Candies, cakes, produce, pantry stuff, and even a deli. This place is my new go to for Latin cooking.”
