“I had three wonderful experiences at Posters on Board with Becky and Steve. I brought in 2 photos I wanted put into a frame, not having a clue how I wanted them framed, but Becky guided me every step of the way, from the placement of the photos in the frame to the color background that would look the best with my wall and other pictures already hung. Becky and Steve are real pros and you can tell they enjoy what they're doing. Then Steve brought the final work to my condo and hung it. He measured the space, stepped back to be sure it was where it looked the best, measured again, then pounded in the nail. He wanted to be sure it was perfect, and it was. Just a few weeks ago I brought another photo in for framing and it's absolutely perfect. Again, Becky helped me decide what I wanted, and Steve brought it to my condo for hanging. “I first walked into the IDC during the height of the pandemic and said I needed to furnish a newly purchased townhome, that I knew what I wanted but that I intensely dislike shopping. During the following months Dawn and Denise could not have been more helpful. They not only heard what I was saying, they listened. My time was never wasted and I was never pressured but was shown items in keeping with what I had said I needed and wanted. I do not live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area so considerable communication took place by phone and email with Dawn always keeping Denise current as related to items under consideration and decisions made while Denise did the same with Dawn. Not once was there even the slightest miscommunication. When we learned due to the pandemic the factory in Finland had stopped making dining tables and chairs Denise contacted someone at the factory to ask if they could please make the one table and 4 chairs I wanted from stock on hand AND THEY DID!!! I was grateful beyond words to think she had done this and that those at the factory had agreed. Three times Kevin and Rick delivered items to my home and each time I was impressed by their work habits. Kevin is extremely skilled/talented and a strong leader and I appreciated how he appropriately mentored Rick relating to why things were being done as they were. Every piece was placed exactly where I wanted and I know had I not been happy they'd have moved them. Whether ordered from Finland or Norway or bought off the floor, I could not be more pleased with the quality of the many pieces from the IDC and as important, could not be happier with the experience I had working with Dawn, Denise, Kevin and Rick. They were exceptional.”

“Westdale Floral did an AMAZING job with not only the floral arrangements I ordered for Valentine’s Day but also the CUSTOMER SERVICE was awesome. Basically they called to see if we were around as the flowers would have been ruined because of the outside temperature. So on the second attempt which was now Valentine’s Day, I had given them the wrong address. They went above and beyond to clear up what was clearly a mistake on my part to assure my wife received her flowers!”

“Dear Mostafa,Thinking of you and your family and friends after the terrible earthquake in Morocco- please know all your customers care for you and your family.Dar Medina is my favorite shopping experience- the beauty of the textiles, purses and housewares overwhelms the senses. If that is not enough, Mostafa greets you as a friend with sincere hospitality- offers Moroccan tea for all who linger and you should. Over the years, I have purchased ornate stamped red purse and wallet purse, vibrant cotton throw, leather sandals with carpet inlay, colorful geometric rug and I generally am not a shopper! All of my purchases I enjoy everyday- even wear sandals in the house in winter. Mostafa has such incredible connections to friends and family who make these beautiful handmade pieces with love and soul in Morocco. Please help the Moroccan artisans who may have been affected by the earthquake and consider stopping by and shopping at Dar Medina. Oh and I live in my cotton (not itchy) hat six months- covers and keeps my ears warm skiing- so cute!covers my ears keeps me warm skiing.”

“What I assume to be the "main" Bachman's locale, this is the largest store and can cover your plant, garden, gift, and even food needs! Came here during the holiday season, and while it was definitely busy, there's lots of parking and the store is so spacious that it doesn't feel crowded. There are spaces for more gift type items and the garden center gir plants and other items like that. Then there's also a small Cafe with coffee, pastries, and some light food items. So many options for shopping! The biggest downfall is location - getting in and out of the parking lot is not easy. Sign up for the rewards program and get coupons!”

“Beautiful all natural fragrances and amazing antique furniture. The perfume here is the real deal. If you have issues with synthetic fragrance, check them out. They have a store downtown and on Hennepin.Alongside that they have a lot of antiques from Asia. There are many small local artists and businesses selling their products here as well.”

“This is a difficult review to write because Bachman's usually does such a good job. I'm adding a star for past performance. I ordered a multi-colored rose bouquet for Valentine's Day 2024 and picked it up at the store on Valentine's Day. They were in a vase and wrapped in plastic. When I removed the plastic at home, 4 of the roses immediately fell to the side. 2 of the lighter colored roses had already begun to brown. They didn't last. These roses should have been sold or discarded 3-4 days before the day they were sold to me.”
“I stopped in to Antiques on Mainstreet to find specific items to use for shelf decorations, like old books. It's always tough going in to an antique shop with specific needs as you never know what you'll find. Anyway, the store is two levels and set up with individual stalls for each vendor. The basement has a large collection of books but unfortunately they were a bit high for me (although totally fair priced). Good variety of items although it felt like at the moment, they had less decor and more collectibles, broadly speaking. The workers were all nice and offered to let me put my items down while I shopped. Definitely a place to stop by if you're on the hunt for antiques or just enjoy browsing!”
